The Munsters by Zob Zombie

Rob Zombie is an interesting cat but a weird guy. I am not sure if this will be good or not but what I can promise you is it will bare little resemblance to the original show beyond some surface similarities.

I think Rob has become a bit derivative of himself. Meaning copying himself and not doing anything new. His music actually hasn’t been good for awhile now, many albums. It’s just the same thing over and over but not as good. I thought his Halloween movies were ok. His others, just ok. These people that were once great get older and all the energy and drive is gone, and it’s just doing something to do something. That’s kind of what I think every time he announces something now days. He got his foot in the Hollywood and Music world, so can do what he wants with little effort put into it.

His wife though. Sherri Moon. Yes, Rob, you married a hot go go dancer. Great, good for you man. High 5. Is she a bad actress? No. Is she great? No. My question is, why does she have to be in ever fracking movie he does? Could he not have actually chose a actress of higher caliber? I really don’t feel her as Lily Munster, at all.

I am a Munsters fan from way back. Yvonne De Carlo (in and out of character), Wednesday Addams, and Elvira will forever be in my list of Holodeck “adventures” if you get my meaning. I like the darker aesthetic. I’ve been a metalhead and goth since the 80’s.

I just don’t see this. The pics just don’t hook me. I guess we’ll see…..

People need to stop messing with the classics and come up with their own stuff.  Wait that would require creativeness and hard work, two things missing from so much today.
