As expected from the snowflake cowboy. As long as there is something backing up your narrative and arguments you claim to be all about facts and evidence, but when there are things backing up arguments you don’t like you go full snowflake apebrain and start REEEing about communist rat fag retards and throwing around slurs to hide the fact that you are wrong and clueless.

Yep. That Mandalorian finale was really destroying that OT character. Oh wait…

There can’t be any “rematch” since that would destroy the duel in A New Hope. I don’t care what any hodgepodge put together of redirect or “certain point of view” people are thinking up. The duel in A New Hope is the first time they have seen each other since Mustafar. Period. That s why it is impactful and meaningful to the story of the movie. That is my opinion.

You are correct. But facts dont matter to the cocksuckers.

Iornically everything that Jeff from WCB ays in this rant is exactly what Ive been saying since this remach bullshit was suggested by Krazy KK and her cronies. Fuck you the remach happened in 1977.

Just another video of someone who hates something none of us have seen yet, and says it breaks canon with no proof to back them up.

You are free to think whatever you want, but it doesn’t change the fact that no one here can give a single point of definitive proof in the film that anyone was talking about the Mustafar duel.

Again, look at the dialogue on its own, not the decades of watching the film and thinking they are talking about Mustafar. Use logic, not your feelings.

I agree with you in that they don’t specify how long it’s been since Obi-Wan and Vader have seen each other in ANH.

But I do worry that they’re going to do a huge lightsaber battle to compete with ROTS to bring in the OG fans, and I don’t think that’s necessary at all.

While it may not be imposable for them to meet in the timeframe, as head of the Inquisitorius why would Vader leave Kenobi alive? why was he not hunted down if the exposed himself to Vader? Doing a rematch opens a can of worms that is not worth the trouble.

Personally, the way I see the show going is Obi-Wan leaves Tatooine. It’s just going to be too much screen time for him to sit around Tatooine the whole time. He’ll assume Luke is safe in the secluded Lars’ homestead and end up fighting Vader on another planet. Then, afterward he returns to Tatooine slipping through Vader’s grasp. As some have pointed out, and I’m inclined to agree with them, there is little to no way Obi-Wan would ever leave Luke since he thinks Luke is the last hope for the galaxy. If this were a normal company, I would say that the writing team has already thought of a solution to this. But since this is Lucasfilm… we’ll have to wait and see.
