It’s kind of a downer to post post guys like this who I once looked up to become Name-dropping elbow-rubbers. I mainly posted it because there was a time he confronted the entire White House media and told them to investigate ANTIFA. That was a different time and a different man though. Today’s Mike would never do that and would probably call himself back then a conspiracy theorist.
From day 1 Cernovich was very egotistical. Sometimes he said things I thought were a home run, sometimes I was not sure what planet he was on. I don’t think that’s changed much. I checked in on him now and then and I still sometimes do. It’s the ego that keeps me away. Anyone thinking that highly of themselves generally loses the power of introspection and they creep towards increasingly being off the mark and just plain silly. And about the time they lose audience and income due to that, since they are no longer self aware, they become confused and angry and lash out. They have no idea how to course correct and they spiral out of control.
This happens a lot. Jack Murphy, Milo, Kayne and Andrew Tate are prime examples. It does not even need to be politics or media. That Liver King dude lost him mind in the same way.
Does this mean they are valueless or should be ignored? Of course not. We can learn things for everyone, sometimes those are positive lessons and sometimes they are negative.
The folks I choose to prioritize are the ones whom never take themselves too seriously and that I find time and time again they are usually on point. Alex Jones is a prime example. Is he whacky? Yes. Is he a liar out for only himself? I have seen no evidence of that and I have kept up with him for years.
