Transformers

Some of the best Transformers for me was the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron games. They had unique ideas for characters we know, such as how Starscream joined Megatron in War for Cybertron. Really hope we get a proper sequel to those games.

Transformers: Devastation is my all time favorite Transformers game. It showed that a TF game can be made using the original G1 designs and still work well. I thoroughly enjoyed the Cybertron series and even played the games based on the movies. Every play the Transformers game for the PS2 (and I think XBox) that was based on Armada? It wasn’t bad but the vehicle modes really didn’t work as most of the game took place in the woods or on mountains.

The first movie wasn’t bad. I even liked the second movie. After that though, the writing just went even more downhill. I hated Sam’s constant crying and screaming. His character developed in the first movie then got a complete reset for the second movie, then another reset for the third. By the third movie he should have been working for the government with the transformers, had gotten training from Lennox so that he at least had a backbone and could do some action stuff. At least Kingdom of the Crystal Skull let LaBouf have a sword fight.

Personally, Bumble Bee was the best of the live action movies. I liked the humans in that movie and it slowed the pace down enough so that it didn’t feel like a sensory overload (unlike the Michael Bay movies). But then again, if you go to a Michael Bay movie you know exactly what you are going to get.

I love the original movie soundtrack, but give the first live action transformers soundtrack a listen, there is some very cool music in there. :)

i have a forum for unpopular movie opinions where i explain transformers revenge of the fallen is the best of them all and its probably in my top 20 favorite movies of all time. but all the first 3 were good, i think they lost their touch without the character of sam, the 4th one was weird to me, the 5th was just bad i didnt like the vibe like it was werid like why did the world seem almost post apocalyptic.and the bumble bee movie was absolute fucking garbage you got 2 minutes of cool stuff in the beginning and after that it turns into a straight to cable disney movie for what felt like 3 hours then they have a little lame action at the very end, its really bad also the realistic transformer designs are better.

Horribly boring movie, sitting through like what 2 hours of an annoying girl in love with her robot car. To this day, its unclear to me how, or why,  Bubblebee is so important in the Bayverse(which includes Transformers Prime).

My Transformers is Generation 1 cartoon, comic and animated movie. Transformers Devastation and the War for Cybertron games.  Titans Return was pretty good too.

1) the films are just bad. The animated 86 film crushed me as a kid but the Bayverse things are just shit.

2) Monday I had delivered a 3rd party ‘power baser’ or powermaster prime. I can get the cab to robot mode to transform correctly; and Ive gotten the trailer to form the robot body but when I go to transform the cab to the cube to place into the trailer chest cavity something goes wrong. The arms actually go into the legs if done correctly but every time they separate and twist so they are no longer flat. As the pieces dont line up correctly it wont fit in the space and lock into the post on the trailer. Anyone else have this issue?
