White House signals new COVID-19 measures coming

President Biden will announce on Thursday new steps in his administration’s COVID-19 response that involves testing, mandates, and school measures depending on a person’s vaccination status, the White House said.

Unconstitutional discrimination by a demented dem government!

The president indicated last week, following the jobs report, that his administration is looking for ways to make it safer for kids to return to school and for workers to return to the office.

And is that why so many Americans are quitting, joe?

Another 4 million workers just quit for the fourth month in a row

A record number of workers quit their jobs in July – again.

The latest data release from the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Summary shows that workers are still reconsidering and leaving work en masse, even as job openings reach a record high.

    Why would they leave?

It’s a quitting trend unlike anything seen in at least the last two decades. It could signal that all of 2021 will be filled with employers scrambling to hire workers who are rethinking what they want out of work, and acting on it.

And with mandates and toxic alt-left/woke/sjw work culture, it is not surprising.

As Insider’s Ben Winck reports, job openings have climbed for the last seven months, and have reached record highs for five straight months. While economists predicted that July openings would fall below 10 million, they rose to a record high of 10.9 million instead. That means that openings still outnumber jobless workers who could fill them.

Going back to low paying, non-essential, easily locked down again jobs?  Who would want that? ! ?

If quits remain this high, an even bigger realignment of work could be coming.

It is the great reset they dems wanted.

Now where are my great paying green jobs, JOE!

    Common MAN!  You promissed!

Politicians and the cycle of problems.

      This is how that works.

      1) use new legislation to quietly cause an issue
      2) let issue fester for years and become serious
      3) once the issue is the talk of the town because it is so horrible you create new laws and budgets to “solve” the issue you created in the first place
      4) problem never goes away but neither does the budget
      5) rinse and repeat

This has happened with basically everything we consider an issue today, namely immigration.

White House says it didn’t expect such ‘vehement opposition’ to Trump-approved COVID-19 vaccine

The White House said it was surprised by the strong opposition to COVID-19 vaccines approved under former President Donald Trump.

      WTF!

I thought joe told us it was HIS admin that got the jab, and approved the jab, and is now FORCING the jab on as many non-illegal aliens as they can?

The president said unvaccinated Americans were slowing the country’s recovery from the coronavirus…

      Yet another LIE!

There are MILLIONS of job openings yet so many un-employed would rather stay on the fed’s benefits.

THAT (IMO) is the biggest reason the recovery is going so slowly (as compared to the possibility they were hoping for).

Asked about the prospect of a mandate in July, Psaki told reporters, “That’s not the role of the federal government.”

One week later, Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said, “There will be no nationwide mandate.”

      Biden, too, had pledged this.

      LIES Lying Liars!

      All of it!

And back at that time, everyone was saying biden did not have the constitutional authority to do so, yet here we are!

These tyrants and their dictatorship must be impeached and removed from the obvious power-grab they are on.

Will A Vaccine Mandate Trigger The Great Resignation?

President Joe Biden’s wide-ranging vaccine mandate will affect tens of millions of U.S. workers, but experts, labor unions and business groups are divided on what impact the rule will have.

Will the need for a job (money) outway privacy/health concerns of the jab?

Several labor unions, however, have forcefully condemned vaccine mandates, which they said stripped workers of their civil liberties. Many have warned of major consequences including potential mass resignations.

“Any staffing shortage, especially during a pandemic, is a threat to the health and safety of both students and personnel,” Mark Cannizzaro, president of New York City’s largest union representing school administrators and principals, said in a statement Thursday.

The loss of teachers and health care workers being suspended/fired for not getting the jab at the same time WILL be very disruptive.

“It is dangerous and irresponsible for the city to move forward with its plan to allow schools and centers to operate so severely understaffed,” he continued. “As a result, we are calling on the city to delay the deadline for the mandate to allow the city to develop a reasonable contingency plan.”

And the desire this blackmail will force all non-jabbed to get poked.  And them not thinking of what would happen if all those still refuse… typical!

“Mandates are not acceptable. People should have a choice,” New York City Fire Department Emergency Medical Service Union President Oren Barzilay told the DCNF. “There are still many unknowns about this vaccine. The government is simply doubling down so they don’t lose face with their agenda.”

After all they have done to lose face (immigration crisis, Afghanistan retreat/killing the social working and kids, circle back girl, dementia joe, cackling kamala, ccp threats in the sough chine sea, etc.)

In San Diego, roughly 45% of police officers said they would prefer to be fired than comply with a city mandate to receive a vaccine, according to a San Diego Police Officers Association internal survey, the ABC affiliate KGTV reported. The Portland police union said it opposed a vaccine mandate, citing potential resignations.

Oh yay.  Less police makes cities safer?  What BS!

“As the APWU has continually stated, all employees are encouraged to wear face coverings at work and are encouraged to voluntarily receive one of the COVID-19 vaccines,” the APWU said in a statement.

The union wouldn’t speculate about mass resignations, but noted that the U.S. Postal Service has been hiring, which could offset any departures, APWU spokesperson Jamie Horowitz said in a brief phone interview.

It could also be for the Christmas rush.  Now how many of the seasonal-temp jobs become permanent?

Arizona became the first state to sue the Biden administration over the mandate on Sept. 14, arguing the rule was unconstitutional since it favored illegal immigrants over American citizens. More than half of all states have threatened to sue once OSHA publishes the rule.

And more states and unions and businesses need to do the same.

      #243705

And this week’s job numbers in the states….

The “experts” were hoping for jobs new hires above 500,000 for September, but only 194,000 got hired!

And joe was saying his admin was creating 600,000 new jobs each month of his administration!

Yet more lies by dementia joe!

3 reasons there’s a labor shortage, according to Biden’s labor secretary

(Labor Secretary Marty) Walsh said that “unprecedented times” is one reason for shortages.

Job hunting and hiring during a pandemic is certainly different, with a new calculus for workers. An in-person job could bring increased risk, or take a parent away from a child completing virtual schooling. Workers are also dealing with a lopsided recovery, with industries like leisure and hospitality leading new hiring as areas like education are still behind.

So in areas that were deemed as non-essential for the economy when they were shut down, are leading in job openings?  A very unstable employment.  Who would want to work when they can be furloughed at any time.

The Census Bureau’s Household Pulse Survey asks respondents why they’re not working. Of those surveyed from…

about 4.65 million said the main reason they weren’t working is because “I was caring for someone or sick myself with coronavirus symptoms.” At the end of July, just about two million people said that was their main reason for not working – meaning that as delta rose,  the number of people not working over symptoms (also grew).

As the media and the feds continue the fear mongering over covid, people are not willing to risk death/hospitalization to themselves or their loved ones.

“I think a lot of people are re-imagining or rethinking about what’s next for them,” Walsh said. It’s what been termed “The Great Resignation” by organizational psychologist Anthony Klotz.

      WTF!

Didn’t the media just claim their was no such thing?

Whopping ZERO Percent Say They’re Willing to Lose Job Instead of Getting Vaccinated in New Poll

…a new poll found zero percent of respondents who were willing to lose their jobs rather than get vaccinated.

Who the fuck were you asking?

… a new poll from YouGov in which respondents were asked “If your employer said you had to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or else you would lose your job, which would you choose?”

Precisely zero percent responded “Lose job.”

And yet no sample size was given in this article.

Did the only get one respondent, and since that once said they would get the jab (and might already have been jabbed) instead of losing their job?

And when we hear this admin saying the jobs have never been better, and unemployment dropped to 4.8% and yet refuse to acknowledge how many millions had stopped looking because they could not find day care (and have to stay at home), having children in remote schooling (and can’t leave them unsupervised), etc.

The delusion of these demented dems and dementia joe… no wonder he IS the worst POTUS ever!

      Failure on the border!

      Failure on Afghanistan withdrawal!

      Failure on jobs!

      Failure on the economy!

      Failure on inflation!

      Failure on “uniting” the nation!

Failure on doing anything in a bipartisan manner!

      Lease accessible POTUS.

      etc. etc. etc.

Hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops have not yet complied with vaccine mandate as deadlines near

Just that headline should make people scared for the future security of the US and their commitments around the world, if so many troops are going to be discharged all at once.

For instance, 90 percent of the active-duty Navy is fully vaccinated, whereas just 72 percent of the Marine Corps is, the data show, even though both services share a Nov. 28 deadline.

That is around 35,000 non-fully jabbed for the navy, and 45,000 for the marines.

But other services are not on such a steady path, and critics say the large gaps between vaccination deadlines jeopardize how ready the military can be in a moment of crisis. They point specifically to the reserves and National Guard, which over the last two years have been called upon in numerous emergencies — at home and overseas — and yet large numbers of their personnel have so far refused to get vaccinated.

      As is their right.

Troops’ receptiveness to the vaccine has varied widely, especially in Guard and Reserve units, which are less connected to the rigid top-down environment that governs daily life on active duty. Experts attribute that to broader societal attitudes — millions of American adults remain unvaccinated — as well as cultural traits unique to each service.

They get news/reports those stuck in the full time services might not get.  So they can make their own educated judgements on the jab.

‘Don’t Think There’s an Answer’: Biden Labor Secretary Perplexed by Worker Shortage

U.S. Labor Secretary Marty Walsh is perplexed and struggling to explain the U.S. worker shortage following the release of an anemic September employment report.

As is the everyone in the WH.  perplexed and struggling to explain anything.

However, a factor that contributed to the drop in unemployment was that 183,000 people weren’t counted as jobless because they did not look for work in September. The workforce participation rate dropped to 61.6 percent, below the 63 percent experienced pre-pandemic.

And who is to blame for that?

Experts can’t explain why so many Americans have dropped out of the labor force despite a surge in job creation. Some have suggested that the latest wave of the Delta variant and increase in COVID-19-related deaths heightened fears about becoming infected with the virus in customer-facing jobs.

Keep guessing, throwing darts, or whatever other method you “experts” use.

Biden on Friday defended his economic policies and described the September jobs report as “consistent, steady progress.”

A steady progress to destruction of the American Dream, IMO.

The report also showed the extent of America’s labor shortage, particularly among women struggling with school and childcare issues who are hesitant to return to work.

And I have personally saw people who USED TO do childcare have also quit/stopped taking kids as the pay is low and the fear/risk of getting infected by transmission from the kids is still HIGH.

So if mothers can’t get baby sitters for their children, be them infants, preschoolers, or school kids forced to do remote learning….

And the dems are clueless as to the low job numbers? ! ?

Well, with so many companies with their forced mandates will creating a new large pool of unemployed.

And what is this admin going to do to prevent this?  NOTHING!  Absolutely NOTHING!

In fact, they are doubling down on it happening!

Get double jabbed or fuck-you and your employment!

Robert Reich: American Workers Are on Strike Over ‘Low-Wage S*** Jobs’

American workers are engaged in “the equivalent of a general strike,” former Labor Secretary Robert Reich has argued, following unexpectedly low us employment figures.

      A general strike?  Over what?

“In reality, there’s a living wage shortage, a hazard pay shortage, a childcare shortage, a paid sick leave shortage, and a health care shortage – and American workers are demanding an end to all these shortages. Or they won’t return to work.”

      Contributing facts, yes.

Reich added that since the covid-19 pandemic, some workers retired, found other income or “simply don’t want to return to backbreaking, low-wage s*** jobs.”

      True.

Where are all the high paying, green energy jobs the dems and the biden admin promised? ! ?

Is that what they are waiting for?

Experts have struggled to explain why so many have dropped out of the labor force despite a surge in job creation.

Could be because those so-called “experts” are all MORONS!

And they only make guesses and pat themselves on the back when they guess correctly.

Another 4 million workers quit in the 5th month in a row of record exits, and it shows how the pandemic is still making people rethink what they want out of work and life

The number of people quitting reached yet another record high in August, with about 4.3 million Americans leaving their jobs behind – especially in retail, food services, and hospitality.

But biden and his circle back girl are saying everything is going as planned – everything is fine.

Employers scrambling to hire and bemoaning labor shortages likely won’t see relief, as workers show no sign of stopping one of the pandemic’s biggest trends: quitting.

Other trends… masks, forced jab mandates, forced covid passports, etc.

It seems that low-paid, mostly in-person roles accounted the largest number of workers quitting.

      What are the numbers?

the quits rate in that industry was 6.8%, over double the average rate across all industries.

Retail trade also had its own series high, with the quit rate coming in at 4.7%. Both industries rely heavily on in-person service, which has taken its own dip during the pandemic, and both are filled with anecdotes of labor-shortage struggles. Many workers require more – whether it’s benefits, higher wages, or better working conditions – to put their lives on the line for those roles…

So being in a low-paying, in-person/most contact, easily locked down industries, easily abused by customers.

It is not worth it to alot of those people.

“One hopefully silver lining of this horrible pandemic would be if the world of work transitioned to a more healthy, sustainable place for employee well-being,”…

Well, considering all signs are a more restrictive/totalitarian way of life seems to be where those in power are trying to force everyone into, I don’t see that silver lining happening while we have those marxists/communists/dems in power.

Vaccine mandate will have ‘catastrophic’ effect on jobs, business group warns Biden

A business group representing wholesalers told President Joe Biden that jobs will be lost if he follows through with requiring companies with federal contracts to have their employees vaccinated.

Isn’t that exactly what this dem admin wants?

Eric Hoplin, president and CEO of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors, laid out the case against the mandates and urged the president to back off his edict in a three-page letter. He said that if the contractor rule is implemented, thousands of workers will be laid off and the supply chain problems will grow far worse.

And not just in the wholesalers-distribution industry.

The letter warned that if the executive order is implemented as written, then “thousands of valued employees will be forced out of their jobs shortly before the holidays, the already compromised supply chain will be under added pressure during the busiest time of the year, and the already tight labor market will make it immeasurably more difficult to replace laid-off employees, compounding supply chain disruption.”

Why do you think the border is OPEN?  So all these new/minimum wage workers can take these jobs?

“If tens or hundreds of thousands of employees are terminated just two weeks before Christmas — including the employees of the NAW companies which ensure the movement of products through the supply chain — the result could be nothing short of catastrophic for the newly unemployed and their families, and for the US economy,” Hoplin told Biden.

I think that is exactly what Biden and the dems WANT.  Hello socialism/marxism!

      They want to destroy America!

Union Pacific and its unions sue each other over vaccine mandate

Union Pacific and its labor unions are suing each other to determine whether the railroad has the authority to require its employees to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

      This could get nasty.

The unions argue that the Omaha, Nebraska-based railroad should have negotiated with them before announcing it would require all employees to get the shots. The railroad contends in its own lawsuit that it believes it has the authority to require the vaccine under its existing contracts because it can set standards for when employees are fit for duty.

Fighting over the language of their CBA.

“This action is necessary to prevent any disruption of the national rail network and to avoid any impact on America’s supply chain, as it continues to recover from the pandemic,” Union Pacific spokeswoman Kristen South said in a statement.

Prevent or cause even more disruptions?

The railroad told employees that they would be medically disqualified under their contracts rather than fired if they didn’t get the shots.

But the unions said Union Pacific was unfairly changing the conditions of their employment without bargaining over it as required.

Now it will be up to the courts to decide.

“We also recognize the seriousness of the pandemic, but such does not permit the carrier to institute an arbitrary policy, which will have a sweeping effect on the current working conditions at Union Pacific Railroad,” SMART-TD (Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers — Transportation Division) officials said in a letter to railroad executives.

The other unions that objected to the mandate were the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way unit of the International Teamsters union and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen.

      Class action.

“… it should come as no surprise that many of our members are opposed to being forced to get a vaccination, for a variety of reasons, while many have already been vaccinated.”

As it is across the entire nation, and those in other countries too.

And what is the WH doing about this?  nothing.  They want as many people as they can to get the jab ASAP, at all costs.

And it is not like you can replace those workers just like that.

      #246726

‘Solemn day’ for B.C. as thousands of health-care workers defy vaccination deadline

British Columbia’s health minister called Tuesday a “solemn day” as 4,090 health care workers missed the deadline for mandatory COVID-19 vaccination and were placed on unpaid leave before they could potentially lose their job.

This is all the government’s doing/fault.

Dix joined provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry in saying the loss of unvaccinated workers in the health-care system will put extra pressure on hospitals…

Once again, you have highly trained people you have placed on unpaid leave when they are needed.  This is your fault for causing the extra pressure!

…recruitment will be more challenging for jobs requiring extensive training.

But you foresaw this happening, that not everyone would be willing to take the jab.

…the union has tried to educate hesitant members about the science-based reasons for vaccination and that he’s struggling to understand the rationale of those who could lose their careers.

Because, all those people PUSHING for the jab, cannot and refuse to address the reasons BEHIND not getting the jab.

What are the long term side effects of the jab?  Where is the science behind that?  Is that the reason the drug makers have been made exempt from liabilities for their drugs on this?

That is part of the reason people do NOT want this drug.

If you would have just listened to them instead of demanding and forcing them into a no-win situation.

Great Resignation sets off ‘vicious cycle’: As more people quit, exhausted colleagues also head for the exit

All of the job quitting roiling the U.S. labor market is leading many workers to, well, quit their jobs.

Stating the obvious, are we not?

The departure of so many colleagues is leaving employees who have stayed with their companies struggling to handle more work and wondering if they’re earning enough to make it worthwhile. As a result, many of those more loyal staffers are bolting, too.

Create a problem, that creates a secondary problem, and it gets worse.

In August, a record 4.3 million workers quit jobs for myriad COVID-19-related reasons. Some were lured by a near-record 10.4 million job openings, many offering higher pay…

If people are unappreciated and overworked where they are, they will go to greener pastures.

Others are switching careers after the pandemic inspired them to pursue their passions. Still, others are hunting for jobs that let them work from home permanently or provide a better work-life balance.

      All fair points.

Even before colleagues left, he says, “Employees were already overworked,” with five handling the workload of six. “Now you have three people doing the work of six.”

And with many workers providing less than the standard two weeks notice when they leave, Taylor says, the impact on the remaining staff gets compounded.

In many cases, employees leave quickly because their new employers are short-handed and need their services right away. But that gives the jilted company little time to figure out how to reallocate the departing employee’s duties.

It is all apart of the great RESET we have been all hearing about.

And with more and more people being FORCED out with jab mandates, this labour shortage and stress will only continue to get worse.

Good thing we have such strong leadership in the WH…. NOT!  That was five days ago MAN!  Let’s go Brandon!

It is so good to know they have a plan… oh yes, they have.  All those illegal aliens crossing the southern border.  Here are the replacement workers for hard working Americans!

      #248117

The mystery of the missing millions is the only blemish on a strong U.S. jobs report

The U.S. jobs report for October hit all the right notes — except for one.

The big disappointment? The number of people in the labor force barely grew, leaving the rate of participation at the lowest level since the early 1970s.

Why disappointment?  Was it not to be expected?

Put another way, millions of people who had jobs before the pandemic still haven’t returned to work. And that doesn’t even take into account a few million more who likely would entered the labor force had there been no pandemic at all.

Could the jab mandate have anything to do with it?

The shortage of workers has come as a big surprise to businesses, Wall Street investors and politicians. They expected the fading pandemic, the reopening of schools and the end of extra unemployment benefits in September to draw more people back into the labor force. Rapidly rising wages was seen another sweetener.

      It hasn’t happened.

Strange how they never mention that, or the fact day homes and other issues with young children are not mentioned.

And with schools lockdown for outbreaks, an adult has to be at home for those times, as those underaged people cannot be left home alone.

The reluctance of so many people to reenter the labor force is a bit of a mystery, especially after some 9 million people lost unemployment benefits in September. Economists had expected to see a pickup in labor-force participation by now.

It just show how BLIND those experts are.

No wonder this admin wants so many illegal aliens into the country, who are jab-exempt… to take those JOBS!

Still, many economists are convinced the size of the labor force will swell in the coming months if the pandemic burns itself out and wages continue to rise. Many people, they say, will need the income.

But if employers are insisting every new hire must be jabbed with this drug, you are limiting the number of people in the labor force.

Strange how all these economists can’t grasp that simple concept.

You can’t work unless you have a SSN card… you can’t get a SSN card unless you can legally work in the US… you can’t get a job unless you have this drug in your system…

      Same concepts!

      #249558

      So after the un-constitutional mandate for businesses has been thrown out, we get this;

US Army Secretary: National Guard members who refuse vaccine will not ‘continue service’

“I have determined that all soldiers who refuse the mandatory vaccination order will be flagged,” Wormuth wrote in a memo…

This action would prevent soldiers from receiving promotions, awards and bonuses.

If members persist in declining vaccination without an approved exemption, she added, they will not be allowed to “continue service.”

And we already know that almost NO ONE will get given an exemption.

      Jab or no job!

I am curious, can’t individual states create a STATE GUARD, under STATE control, instead of this National Guard?
