Watched ‘Akira’ last week which wasn’t too bad but I was able to watch ‘Bubblegum Crisis’ and ‘Bubblegum Crash’ afterwards which I really enjoyed. Better than Iron Heart🤣! Loved the soundtrack to it too.
I’m still watching the 4th season of Attack on Titan but I have been busy lately but I will plan on finishing the remaining episodes that are available to watch.
Recap: I’ve finished watching the following anime in my physical media collection: Akame Ga Kill! Black Lagoon, Castlevania Season 1-4, Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, Cross Ange, Fate/Apocrypha, Fate/Stay Night, Freezing, Garo: Vanishing Line, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Outlaw Star (my favorite), Rahxephon, Steins; Gate, The Testament of Sister New Devil and The Vision of EscaFlowne.
Now, I’m considering adding the one anime I never considered even watching back in the day. That anime is Sailor Moon. I’m conflicted on whether I should buy the original 90’s version or the 2014 Crystal reboot. Which is the better option? Help me out, I’m open to any opinions.
1 new: Zom 100, a relatable, hard working man whose taken advantage of by a corporation for the past 3 years until one day the zombie apocalypse occurs and now he’s living his best life (ironic to the max and a laugh out loud anime).
2. Fist of the North Star: If you ever wanted to know where the inspiration for JoJo’s Bizarre adventure came from, look no further than this wonderfully classic anime. Kenshiro is the successor to the deadliest martial arts style in a post apocalyptic world on a obsessed journey to rescue his fiancee from his mortal enemy and rival Shin, climbing out from a figurative hell to get revenge.
3. One Piece- You all know the story of One piece, a rubber man to become king of the pirates. Is it worth watching through over a thousand episodes to catch up? YES, IT ACTUALLY IS. Depending on how much free time you have you can catch up in about a few months. And if you think that’s a joke, you’d be wrong because fast forwarding through flashbacks cuts hours off your watch and it doesn’t ruin the enjoyment.
4. Pick any Isekai you want. There’s an Isekai for everything people! Jobless Reincarnation is probably the most beautiful and heartbreaking anime I have ever watched. An emotional rollercoaster that will require either a beer or a girlfriend to watch because man, some of these episodes hit you in the feels.
Aside from that, I cant think of anything else I’m watching. Hope this gets people excited to watch anime.
