Curious what folks think here. I know his account is reinstated and he has remained silent. I am sure he wants to push Truth Social, I mean I think the site dies without him so I get that. But can he either resist the urge or risk muting his own voice while running a campaign?

I am sure he probably has some contract with Truth Social. But last I heard he just had to give them exclusivity for 6 hrs. But that was really just rumor I have no receipts on that one.

Maybe he is just happy posting on Truth and letting others repeat what he says there.

I guess time will tell.

As a non-twitter person, it matters not to me.

What Trumps says gets reported on regardless if it is was posted on twitter or truth social.

I am not on Twitter either but I do think it is culturally relevant which is why I was pondering it. But you are right what he says makes the rounds regardless. I just don’t think he gets the same kind of interaction on Truth though.

If he does, he can pretty much bury Truth Social. So long as he sees potential there, he won’t be back.

At this point, I wonder if he can even have any intention of running again. That Kanye / Fuentes situation severely hurt his prospects, and clearly the Murdoch media empire is now fully against him. I don’t see how he can win the primary with Fox running one hit piece after the next against him. While Trump was the best US president in over a century, and I prefer his policies and personality, I have to admit DeSantis is the better candidate. He doesn’t have a speech impediment, he is wildly popular, free of scandals and virtually unassailable.

I agree with the Truth Social thing. If he goes on Twitter TS is dead.

Trump IS running. He announced it already. I don’t think the Kanye thing hurt him at all because we can see how Kayne has lost his mind and he admitted to bringing Fuentes unannounced. And the media has always been fully against him , it’s never stopped.

On the DeSantis thing I agree BUT, make no mistake about it. If DeSantis runs then HE will be Hitler. They have already come out in the media and called him “worse than Trump”. It does not matter who opposes them, anyone who does will have the media against them 24/7 and they will be Hitler.
