I want sexualisated female characters, i want them to be “male fantasy”, i want fanservice, i want female designs like Mortal Kombat (2011) and Tomb Raider: Underworld. But today developers censor their female characters, EA even censored Miranda’s butt scenes in new Mass Effect remaster, called EDI’s design sexist.

Guys, do you think it will come back in Western games? (i don’t care about indie and japanese games)

I think people should be able to choose between games with fanservice and games for feminists / cucks.

I know a lot of girls that prefer games and movies with hot women, they don’t agree with the idea that all women must have short pink hair, wear Ellen pants and trying to be funny towards the whole male cast during the whole time.

I honestly think that most women have common sense and hate this woke stuff.

But I don’t mind games/movies made just for the woke people, it’s fine, go ahead and make them, if you have the skills. But do not interfere with our stuff, don’t change OUR movies and games. Let us be free to keep enjoying our entertainment that was originally made for us. The planet is big. There’s space for everybody.

But they don’t think like that, they want to censor our stuff, they want to take over everything. They want full power. Basically they want to erase us. They’re evil.

I have a few random thoughts on this. I’ll bullet point them.

      – The mainstream being so fond of slut shaming wasnt really a thing until Trump got elected. Trump has a super hot wife so villifying attractive ladies was just another  way to push the orange man bad narrative. With him out, sex sells could slowly become the norm again.

      – Comic Books, while still woke as fuck, are beginning to have attractive art again (outside of the YA novels, of course). The actual stories are still trash but the art is pretty nice to look at it.

-Some television shows seem to be trying to be sexier, as well. Even Batwoman, the wokest of TV, replaced Ruby Rose with an attractive actress. I watched Az’s review of episode 3 and she is in shirts that show off her tits or mid-drift several times in the episode.  Again, meaning the trends could be changing.

-I feel the “all western characters are ugly” narrative is a bit over exaggerated. Apex Legends, Rogue Company, Tomb Raider, Cyberpunk 2077, Mortal Kombat 11 are a few examples of western games that have sexy ladies.  Even, the ladies in the newer COD games are pretty hot.

-I think what you are actually asking is, “When do we get massive tits and skimpy outfits again?”.
-The tits come back when culture shifts back to people being into tits as much as ass.  Years of big tits full of silicone putting alot of people off on big tits because they were fake and western devs hyper focusing on realism in games can be attributed, partially, to why the went away, as well.
-Skimpy outfits havent completely disappeared but because of Sony’s (the biggest gaming platform) rules, they have to be tamer.  They sexy costumes are, also, usually DLC because people will be more likely to buy them (Black Widow’s super tight suit in Marvel’s Avengers or. the classic lady ninja costumes in MK11, for example)

-Younger folks, teens, young adults are exposed to Twitch Thots, Onlyfans, Instagram and Tic Tok models on a regular basis. When they reach the age to get into the business and, eventually, start getting leadership roles, they will understand that” sex sells”.

      – The people that buy the Japanese and indie games that feature the kind of content you want will be the people that convince the west it’s a viable and profitable option to sell that kind of content. No trend is, immediately, accepted by the mainstream. If no one supports the smaller or niche companies that that produce the kind of content you want, it will never be accepted.  Resident Evil 8 may be Japanese. Sense-A Cyberpunk Ghost Story may be indie but enough people supporting titles like these, that feature the content and attitude devs/publishers should have is how you get the EAs and Activisions of the world to jump on board.

        From the Mainstream, no

From the woke indie clique (aka SJWs who are only making games to push their agendas), no.

From other indies who actually have a passion for games, yes.

Games are far too corporate right now and actually care what the press says rather then the customers.  I honestly believe cancel culture is losing its vice grip and that even people that have enabled it are getting tired of it. We also don’t know the extent of the Mass Effect censorship. Keep in mind who the devloper was talking too. A Urnalist. The Enemy of The People. The people that activly promote wokness above what they are supposed to be covering which is “Whats the game and when does it come out.”

Do you think if Twitter gets shut down, we’ll get our hot babes back?

        #207945

        That would certainty help.

According to Alexa ranking, even Bing and Adobe.com is more popular than Twitter.com

Also, as of 2021, “Twitter has far more male users (70%) than female users (30%)”, so feminist women are just loud minority

It’s not surprising the second largest search engine has more users than Twitter.
Killing Twitter wouldnt, magically, make all the problems disappear overnight anyway. I dont know what so many think that.
People not buying the shit that pushes woke, while supporting shit that is openly not woke is how you create the cultural change.

As long as people continue to support the woke AAA companies that push censorship, cancel culture and the woke agenda because there advertising tells you to, it wont change.
For example, why should EA change when they are censoring their games and implying fans of the game’s character designs are sexist but it still sells like ganbusters. They have no incentive change and they wont because normies and fanboys are fucking retards that will happily give money to a company that, openly, hates them.
The tides are starting to turn. i truely believe that but, for a while, you’re just gonna have to suck it up and by Japanese and Indie titles for that kind of content.

Not in mainstream, no. At least as along as people are buying it. When sales are gonna drop big and they start run out of money, then maybe.

I think counter-narrative and multiple points of view are important.
There should be games that have sexy women in them and it is treated as normal and completely positive both in and out of the world.
There should be games that have sexy women in them and it is treated as something with potential for negativity, be it the sexy woman using that aspect of her to manipulate the hell out of people or be frustrated with how much she is treated differently because of her attractiveness.

There should be games that avoid the sexualization of women.
Games with a sexualization aspect should be allowed to poke fun at some tropes of going too far with desexualization, and games that have primarily nonsexualized characters should be able to poke fun at the blow-up dolls or weird tropes of titles with higher degree of female sexualization.
The double standards when it comes to how sexualized men are compared to women, on both sides of the spectrum, should be sometimes brought to light.

And generally, NONE of it should be the CORE aspect of these games. But it should be there.

It’s much harder to realize and respect others’ viewpoints or consider the shortcomings and mistakes of your own in an echo chamber.

I think the better way to put it is that writers, designers, devs etc should just do their job without thinking what low iq people, “critics”, jourinalists will say on twitter or write in their stupid articles. If they think a woman with big breasts and in bikini fits their vision in the story or whatever then they should do it if not, then that’s okay too and not because they are afraid that somebody will try to shame and call them ist or a phobe.

I think games should just have a character creator that allows you to make your character look any way you want it. Developers should not dictate how we enjoy games.

People have different tastes, and there is no one size fits all solution.

First of all, you’re wrong. Not every game needs a customizable character. Some games, such as fighting games, with multiple player characters couldnt do that.

Second, even if that wasnt one of the worst idea ever, what your character looks like wouldnt change the art style or character design of everything else in the game.
