If you don’t want people calling each other names or using slurs IN GENERAL, then say so. But if the alphabet community is going to be a special, protected class, then we have a problem. I hate platforms such as Twitter and Facebook IN PART because the alphabet agenda is a protected class, while normal people are censored and banned for not conforming to it or for speaking out against it. I’ve had actual careers stolen from me because of garbage like this. Using such blatant terminology is the definition of browbeating. I will not be censored or bullied into accepting the alphabet agenda. So if that’s going to be a problem, then you might as well ban me now.

There are ways to disagree with the gay community cordially – saying “I’m against same-sex marriage” and stuff like that. I think the rule is against calling someone a f*g and stuff like that (although that’s one of the words I use to joke with friends). From the way she worded it it comes across as being pretty zero tolerance no matter the context, but if you want a community where you can say whatever you want there are plenty of those. I actually prefer a civil discussion.

Now if you want me to address you by a certain pronoun other than he/she then I would say “fuck off!” lol

I think it depends on the case. If you just call other people fag or gay etc just for fun then it’s fine. But if you really harrass and target gay people because you are against same sex marriage then you need to grow the fuck up.

You’re not understanding the problem. If people are not allowed to use slurs IN GENERAL, then say so. You don’t single out a single demographic over all others. That is the definition of fascism.

I’ve already been referred to as “fresh meat” on the G&G Discord. This constitutes a slur towards a new person. But you don’t see me throwing a hissy fit over it.

Elevating the homosexual community above everyone else is the first step on the woke path. “Homophobic” is a bullshit term used like a hammer to bully and browbeat people into submission. I will not submit, comply, or bend the knee to this. ESPECIALLY as a paying customer.

and the denial of reverse racism (which people call a myth but is in fact FACTUAL), and not giving it a proper name when people discriminate against whites.

G&G has learned nothing from the Last of Us 2 fiasco or any of the other “get woke, go broke” malarkey.

Jeremy needs to fix this shit, otherwise G&G will need to ban me. I won’t give my money to more woke bullshit. Every single one of those rules can be distilled into one: If someone annoys you, block them.

A little bit off topic, but I just want to share this, because it’s also related to some alphabet people.

Last week I watched the movie Bill & Ted face the Music and I told some friends: “that actress that plays Ted’s daughter is cool, she has potential”. And then someone a little bit upset told me: “it’s not actress, it’s actor and it’s not she, it’s They!”

So it seems I am being “accused” of misgendering and deadnaming. Lmao

But… I’m not sure if this is something that is official right now in the internet or something, or we, people with common sense, can ignore it? Lol I honestly don’t know.

But I saw on official websites and they really use plural pronouns: “Brigette Lundy-Paine is an American actor and Fashion Icon. They consider their acting career to be a side show to their career as a pop star…”

(I know there’s many more actors and artists like her… Err like them…)

Lol so yeah, for me it’s so… Awkward. But maybe I’m just too old for this shit. XD

I understand the Left has been pulling some insane double-standards in regards to LGBTBBQhowmanylettersdoyougodamnneed, but there are number of queers on both the left and the right who have disassociated themselves with the larger movement because of its recent behavior. They know that being gay isn’t particularly interesting or a personality trait or afford them special privileges. And while they’re far less likely to take offense over idiotic slurs, they should still be afforded respect whenever appropriate.

It’s just the basic principle of treating people how you want to be treated.

Also, I’m not too aware on the details, but I think Discord went full woke a while back, and have been shutting down servers under the pretense they were “alt-right.” So G&G would have to abide by their rules there. It’s likely they’re trying to keep the Discord admins off their backs.

That’s called “going woke” and bending the knee. I’m really not interested in the excuses. The Discord server is for paying members of the website. I’m not paying money to support being hit over the head with the bullshit “homophobic” hammer.

I was called a newbie slur for joining the Discord server. Either all slurs are off-limits, not just for this special class of citizen, or there’s going to be some impressive flame wars on the horizon, because I’m not backing down on this.

Naw man, you gave us a great example of why this is woke bullshit. It starts with the homophobic hammer, which they then use to beat down anyone that speaks out against them for any reason, REGARDLESS of whether or not slurs are used. Including “misgendering and deadnaming”. The deadnaming is a new one to me. Actually noticed that women were being referred to as actors a long time ago. Really irritating. Your example is right on target for this thread.

I don’t generally use slurs, period. Full stop. To single out the homosexual community and elevate them in such a manner is, at best, ludicrous. At minimum, it turns G&G into just another Fascistbook and Twitter.

And what are you talking about? As I said, nobody should be canceled, banned, arrested etc for a joke, no matter if the joke is towards ”fags” or ”school shooting crackers”.

However, I do stand against people who don’t support same sex marriage since I believe they deserve the same rights as everyone else. If you believe otherwise then fine, but I still don’t think you should be banned.

But how is homophobia bullshit? It’s basically racism but towards gay people. If you think gay lives are worth less and they don’t deserve to live or have rights, I think that fills the requirements of a homophobe. Are you saying people like that don’t exist?
