Haven’t seen much of RDJ outside of the MCU, but as far as favorite Iron Man movies? The first one was cool when I saw it in theaters. What hasn’t been said. It was a nice starting point for the MCU and Iron Man.

The second one I didn’t hate, but it seemed rather forgettable.

I recall liking the third one more than the second. I did think it was weird how Tony seemed out of his armor so much, and there was the Mandarin reveal. I was introduced to the Mandarin by Iron Man Armored Adventures, where he was pretty strong and tied to magic, so him being a regular guy was odd. The arc of Tony trying to grow stronger without full access to the armor was kind of neat in hindsight though.

        Iron Man

        Avengers

        Homecoming

        Infinity War

Don’t get me started on Iron Man 3 – that movie was a damn tragedy in every way.  Civil War was fine.

I like his version of Tony Stark best in the first Iron Man film.

The rest is Tony showing off to everyone else.

In the first, we see his drive and inventiveness.

Non MCU, I wish they did more Sherlock Holmes films.  Without having read any of the actual novels, just what they said his was the most accurate to how Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle wrote the character.
