In 2019, a mini-series called “Heroes In Crisis” came out.
How does a superhero handle PTSD? Welcome to Sanctuary, an ultra-secret hospital for superheroes who’ve been traumatized by crime-fighting and cosmic combat.
But something went wrong.
People were dying. And at the end of the 9-issues series, it was the Wally West Flash that was found to have been the killer.
Yet this years Flash 2021 Annual wraps up the storeline of “Blink of an Eye” (The Flash #768-771) and ties it all back into the “Heroes In Crisis”.
Wally West is redeemed as a hero, the true cause of the explosion and why it had to be was revealed… Savitar.
It was a great twist and a well written finale for “Heroes In Crisis”.
Sadly, the lead up “Blink of an Eye” was not as well written, IMO.
