What is it with the Right and the Book Banning

Personally I really want to know what exactly centrists like JSG would propose to combating the Left. “Free debate and exchange of ideas”? Leftists took full advantage of that, seized total political hegemony and will now terrorize, sometimes violently, dissidents into silence. We have an utterly irresponsible media telling lies and half-truths which are confusing people and even incentivizing them into violence (see: recent Waukesha attack. Absolutely retaliation for the Rittenhouse verdict). Sick perverts are now pushing LGBTBBQ ideology looking to corrupt children ten years after we were told “they just want to get married, they’re not coming for your kids.” (Reminder: the Communist worldview is so fucked that they don’t think parents have a right to raise children how they want. They in fact think kids belong to the state).
Authoritarianism doesn’t necessarily always mean dictatorship/tyranny. It literally just means using state power to enforce order. Sometimes a measure of it is necessary in order to protect your way of life from those who lifestyle is completely incompatible with your own. Because when has liberalism ever actually stopped the relentless advancement of Communism?* The Founding Fathers may have been liberals in their day but they wouldn’t have tolerated any of this shit from the modern Left for even a single day.
*rhetorical question, the answer is never.
Too many people think being Right-wing means supporting Trump/Capitalism, which is just nonsense. Being Right-wing has always meant supporting hierarchy, tradition and family. Right-wing thought builds civilizations and establishes rules so said civilizations can be maintained. Left-wing=The opposite of all that. Below image explains it succinctly:
Sooner or later people are going to have to decide which side they’re gonna be on and what kind of world they want to live in. There’s not gonna be any middle-ground like there was during the latter half of the 20th century (though I’m half-convinced everything that’s happened since WWII was basically a series of psyops to get us to this point. I get why Boomers looked at their parents values and thought they were being way too harsh, but one generation later and look where we are).
The Left is not going to settle for any sort of compromise because there is no tangible end goal. Every time they do get their way they then move the fucking goalposts because it’s an ideology steeped in resentment and self-loathing and they want the “freedom” to do whatever they want without consequence. Stop assuming they’re reasonable and start treating them like the lunatics they are.
Kinda rambled for a bit and got distracted from my main point: This wasn’t about censorship or book burning or however he wants to frame it. This is removing completely inappropriate content from a children’s school that would be used to brainwash them. Totally detrimental to public morality. Want to win the culture war? Actually take a hard stance and don’t let your enemies promote their crap on impressionable minds. “Superior ideas will win in the end”? Not if the Left actively suppresses your ideas. Stop acting as if this is some sort of honorable game, the Left do not respect the rules at all.
One thing I learned about politics is that all legislation is basically grounded on a set of morals and values, so you better damn well make sure it’s your values getting legislated.

Super long read 😂 but makes sense. I am seeing more of YoungRippa’s side of things these days, as in if your system relies on the correct people being in power, your system is broken. However, the culture *war* is similar to how we treat all these countries where we have military bases. Either formally assimilate them or leave them alone. If you’re going to establish an empire, don’t half-rear end it.
