That is not at all what I am saying. Let’s put it a different way.
God -> Morality -> Laws
Religion as we know it today functionally is a man made organizational thing that often times has little to do with God and what he says and asks for.
In essence, remove God and then that pyramid falls because without a root there can be no tree. The branches cannot exist alone.
We see this already in society. No God turns into moral relativism which turns into nihilism and then you get a generation of confused, depressed and directionless human beings who worship only themselves and whatever the corporations tell them. They still have faith, they still worship but it’s directed at other humans and the self both of which fail regularly and as such things seem dire and pointless. If one grows up believing that the only point to life is to make yourself happy for 5 mins at a time then there is no point and it all comes crashing down. It all means something or nothing means anything.
Yeah without a doubt Michael Knowles shouldn’t discuss topics he knows nothing about. A similarly enough, the same conversation about loli came about from The Lotus Eaters claiming “Loli manga” is the same thing as cp.
I love anime/manga, but when people make such vapid, ignorant, and quite frankly, DANGEROUS claims like these, it ends up making situations much worse than they are.
First and foremost, Loli is another phrase for “small bodied” like Petite. Obviously Loli refers more to anime/manga, but women can be small bodied, depicting themselves younger than they are. That’s where the Loli trope comes from.
But you have this sect of people who equate fictional draws to real life children and will report and attack anyone who enjoys fictional content.
Then you have other people saying Loli concepts turned you trans now too? Well both statements are absolutely false and both statements need to be treated the same: A mental illness.
This misinformation has gotten so bad that people have resorted to reporting Loli anime/manga/art to authorities as a credible threat which in turn diverts resources away to stop the ACTUAL crimes against children.
I’m sorry but if you see anyone making such idiotic claim, do the anime community a favor and just shut them down immediately with facts.
I’m sick of having to defend content I e always enjoyed from deranged morons who often are the guilty party whose pointing the finger.

@comicsgate those weren’t rumors, that actually happened and I’m glad it’s all getting exposed. it needs to be stopped 100% and prosecuting needs to be swift and damning.
