Sometimes I wonder if these people even know what freedom is. Or rather, what political freedom gives you freedom *from*.

I had an argument about this with a Canadian guy at work, and they think of freedom as not being restrained by anything, including contracts, laws, relationships, etc. When someone says stuff like that, it’s obvious they don’t know what they are talking about.

Political freedom basically means freedom from physical coercion from others. At least, that’s how the American founders saw it. It’s sad to see the slow erosion of such a powerful concept like Freedom and Liberty.

This doesn’t make sense. All the crazy ass diseases always start in undeveloped countries with shitty hygiene like India, China and other but infect easier in countries with more freedom obviously. Because in countries with more freedom, people who carry the disease have the freedom to meet and infect other people. It’s common sense. It’s the ”price you pay” for freedom.

Ill pay that cost since Im no slave to the government.

The remeining 94% are people who would have likely died anyway. Literally slip n falls, heart attacks, traffic fatalities, My 91 year old grandmother who died a week ago today from heart failure will likely have WuFlu on the death cert if my uncles dont force the correction.

….you do understand this is how viruses work… right? people who are in the risk group (=have heart problems, are overweight, have weak lungs etc) are the ones in bigger danger of dying from covid and any virus in general. Healthy people are never in the risk zone in normal influenza epidemics, just like in covid. So if you wanna only count people who died solely because of covid (a small number) then you should use the method in all epidemics/pandemics and you’ll notice that it’s the same for all.

When counting deaths in diseases caused by a pandemic or epidemic, you always count people who are in the risk zone obviously. The only covid deaths which shouldn’t be counted as death by covid are the accidents, car crashes etc. But if you’re seriously trying to say 94% of the deaths are caused by falling down the stairs or car crashes you’re delusional
