The first trailer for the Animaniacs reboot is out and it looks great! It feels very reminiscent of the original show. The new animation looks great, I genuinely laughed at some of the jokes, and I’m so excited for November 20!
If I had one complaint, that mansplaining joke at the end kinda turned me off, but I’m still holding out hope it will be good
I’m concerned that Dot is a Feminist, but then again I’m not sure if she was one all along. I appreciated the “mansplainy” joke but disliked how she yelled at the cute pegasus, seemed out of character for her.
They better drop an anvil on a Feminist or use a giant mallet on an SJW soon or else this will be a fraud. Also I hope they don’t get onboard the “orange man bad” train.
Well I’ve watched five episodes so far, and (no spoilers) it’s fine.
There’s definitely some very funny parts of it, but you can tell they definitely went woke and political in some areas. It hasn’t consumed the whole show, but it’s enough where it’s a problem. I’d rate it a 7.5/10 (again, I’ve only seen the first five episodes)
