@DigiCat One of the best shows. What initially seems to be a survival horror unfolds into a plot of intrigue and suspense as the protagonists try to figure how exactly they got into the position that they’re in. And once they get their answers, it becomes an emotionally-charged story with no clear-cut right or wrong answers.
I think you’ll enjoy it as much as FMA: The two shows are quite different but they do otherwise share similar themes about common humanity, bonds and suffering. I didn’t think there’d be another shounen to rival FMA for a while but Isayama proved me wrong.
Oh, yeah, and the art work is gorgeous. Studio WIT produce some of the best work you’ve ever seen in anime. Pity they didn’t do the last season for some reason, but I hope they get contracted to do a new Berserk anime one day because they’d definitely do it justice.
