Many people have been reporting that Emilia Clarke has been hired to replace ms.Turd as Mera.

With the fact Emilia and Jason already have worked together (GoT), they have goo chemistry together.

I hope cancel culture doesnt win.
She seems like a terrible person but she’s never attacked fans and does a good job in the role.
Her and Depp’s personal issues are not my concern. That’s the court’s place and the judge’s place to punish her. Not WB or an online mob.
I wont feel sorry for someone that exploited the MeToo movement getting eaten by the same machine but I’m not going to celebrate it, either.
A complete stranger losing their job seems like a very weird thing to celebrate, to me.

I personally prefer Emilia Clarke as an actress to Amber Heard, but that’s just my personal opinion, so if i’m celebrating anything, it’s that Emilia gets to be in a superhero movie, and i’m happy for her

On Amber’s firering, i don’t think she should lose her job because of personal affairs, but, if the way she behaves towards Johnny Depp is true (and judging by the evidence that’s extreamly likely), there’s no reason to think she wouldn’t also mistreat staff and co-stars alike, and mistreatment in the workplace, not just whining “he/she touched my hair, sexual harrasment, reeeeeee!!”, real mistreatment, is a valid reason to fire someone

I wonder how they are gonna explain Mera getting shorter? Amber Heard is like 5’8 and Emila is 5’2, are they gonna say that Mera shrunk in the washing machine or something? Well after knowing what Amber drops in the bed sheets…….I can understand if Aquaman wants her to get clean lol 😂😀

If that means Mera get clean but shrinks along the way….that is okay lol 😂😀

Peter Safran, a producer for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” said “fan pressure” had little impact on the decision whether to keep Amber Heard in the franchise.

What a minute! It is not Aquaman 2 as the title, but “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”?

“I don’t think that we’re ever going to react to, honestly, to just pure fan pressure,” Safran said on Deadline’s “Hero Nation” podcast. “Because, you know, you’ve gotta do what you feel is best for the movie.”

By alienating a large portion of your fan base by having this toxic 💩 in the film?

He continued: “We felt that if it’s James Wan and Jason Momoa, it should be Amber Heard. And that’s really what it was.”

Sorry, but I disagree.

With James Bond, we had producers (Broccoli), had Q appear with various Bonds (Desmond Llewelyn), we had several different Moneypenny’s, then we can easily had a better actress for Mera.

Maybe they’re not gonna bother recastng ’cause they’re planning to kill off the character anyway, i do know of one storyline in the comics where Mera dies, and Wonder Woman’s also in that story
