The idea of mixed schools is so boys and girls can learn the differences between how the two sexes think and act at an early age, and that they may have more in common than they might’ve originally presumed (and also perhaps acquire the unspoken benefits of having a friend of the opposite sex).

    I have to disagree.

They are in the ‘one’ classroom so that all students are given the same education, regardless of how differently they learn.

It is the teachers, their union, and education ministers who decided with policy and curriculum that instead of getting the direction/education the male students need, they are being de-male-ized, demonized, being forced to become ‘subdued’ with drugs, having exams written with the female point of reference etc.

How can boys succeed when they are being constantly being put down by the teachers, the media, politicians, etc.

Having males act like female, behave like females, think like females, etc. is NOT helping males to learn and grow and succeed.

I say this from personal experience as I went to mixed school, but most of the teachers there were male who knew how to keep boys in line. Whenever we did have a female teacher, the difference in the atmosphere was almost profound (much more relaxed, and sometimes descending into chaos within less than an hour. It was pretty rare to have a female teacher who could be strict).

I have to say, my personal experience was the complete opposite, it was with the male teachers that the atmosphere was more relaxed (not to say they were push-overs), the difference got even more profound in middle and high school, as most of my female teachers from that time were tyrants 🦖 As for the chaos, well, i was in a class of baboons, so that was pretty much constant 🐵

I semi agree with this ’cause 1) agree, i have experienced being in classrooms where the teacher doesn’t give a crap how you learn, she’s just a lazy shit who does everything by the book (and that’s me, female, not understanding shit being taught by a female), 2) disagree, i have also experienced being in classrooms whith extreamly good teachers, both male and female, who took the time to make sure all their students were learning and helping out those who were having trouble with a particcular subject, this was mostly in primary school
