      Yeah that’s not fascist or communist at all.

      Another example of government causing a problem and then taking your money and freedom to “solve” it.

        I can see them also after all the other grocery stores have left/been bought out, doing a voucher based on your social credit score, with vouchers based not on dollar value-but on items.

        You get on your app that you can get so many fruits and vegetables per week.  So many pieces of meat per week.  So many “funk foods” per month.

        They will want to control what you eat, how much you eat, and you will be happy to get what they give you.

        You will own nothing, and be happy.

          Sometimes I wonder if that was misunderstood initially and the actual intent was “you will have nothing and be happy”.  And that’s not hyperbole.  I really think that was what they meant.

              Even if it is (which it’s not going to be) it will be a huge fail and another knife in the back of freedom.

              This theme with blaming grocery stores (and attacking farmers) for issues government caused seems to be a theme which is not at all surprising.

                They’ll probably use the military to keep miscreants in line. In order for rationing to work everyone must get 2 cockroaches and a loaf of bread or else all hell will break loose.

                  Well that’s a good point.  I am sure they would love to break the seal on using the military on US citizens outside of war time.

                  None of this is organic or unplanned.  It’s exactly what they want.  Decades ago a much younger Bernie Sanders said lining up for food as distributed by the government was a good thing.  All what we see before is has been in the works probably since the 60’s.
