Anyone else had one of those? I played some games before but what made me a gamer was the original Turrican on C64, I played that to the ground.

But else I had a ton of C64 games (I actually still own around 80 floppy disks but sadly no way to play them, don’t even know what’s on them), another one I played a lot, and I know it’s considered bad, but back then I loved Ghostbusters, the one with the city map, I replayed that so often because at the end no matter if you win or not you get a code which lets you start pretty much in New Game +. Good times, I miss them.

Originally I had a spectrum but picked up a a C64 in later years.

Totally agree with you about Ghostbusters outstanding game and still play it now and again. The C64 had the best version of this game, also would recommend Encounter and lazy Jones. All my games are on cassette and I don’t have a disk drive but I know the floppies are very expensive to buy these days.

I had a C128 growing up along with two huge boxes of 5 1/4 floppies full of games. Some of my favorites (to name a few): Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior, Ghostbusters, Ducks Ahoy, Friday the 13th, Cabal and an alternate version of Super Mario Brothers. I think I played on that thing so much the load command is second hand muscle memory now! lol

I had Barbarian too, I didn’t had Cabal but I had Operation Wolf.

Looking at Encounter gameplay makes me feel like I played it, but I’m not 100% sure on that one.
