Not exactly a book topic, but it seems as good a place as any  I know fan fiction is notorious for terrible writing but does anyone have any examples of relatively good crossover fan fiction stories?

See, the best ones I’ve read never get finished. There was a REALLY good Doctor Who/Animorphs fanfic that everything felt plausible, in character, just so sad it never finished.

Vathara is a great author. Check out her Thrower of the Dart as an example. Avengers / Artemis Fowl. There is a readon why she is called Crossover Queen. She stays in rules of IPs she writes about, stays true to individual characters and she fills in plot holes. Also helps that her writing is hilarious.

She also wrote her own books under her own name C. Chancy. I mentioned them on the site already in Book section of the forums, *A Net of Dawn and Bones* and *Seeds of Blood* are ones I have read, but she has more.

I know this is a shameless plug but I have my own cross-over fanfiction to share. It’s call Lionballs and I basically took the entire script of Spaceballs and rewrote it with the characters from the original Voltron: Defender of the Universe. The version that is on Fanfiction.net is not complete, as I had to convert the format of my original version to the formatting standards of the website. So I’m still in the middle of editing it but there are currently 16 chapters uploaded for your reading pleasure.

While you’re there, you can check out the other Voltron stories I have on there. The Adventures of Elevator Lance feature cameos from characters like Mario and Luigi, to the Ninja Turtles, just to name a few.
