Diablo 4 actually triggers my depression Not A Joke.
I was always wondering why post end game, I didn’t like Diablo 4 AT ALL. Yesterday’s live stream was the one that hit home.
I felt depressed playing the game & the more I played, the more I felt it until I could not even string full sentences together. You can watch the 40 minute live stream to see how this video is not clickbait or sensationalizing a mental condition.
It’s the only game that triggers my depression. I am contemplating uninstalling the game but then I would have wasted 150$ I paid for the Ultimate edition, but if I keep it, I won’t be happy. See the conundrum? I might just do short livestreams for the latest patches or return at Season 2. We’ll see.

After beating a game like this, there’s not much else to do. And uninstall it or don’t, do you still want to play it?
Choose your happiness over money. You might come back to it later and they fix the game to be more enjoyable or you might find something better.
I have been depressed for a very long time, I can tell when someone is going through tough times. I didn’t pick this game up because the idea that pushing woke agenda into a Diablo game made me depressed and why I would pay for a game that wouldn’t meet my expectations.
Maybe it’s because you’re playing it by yourself? That can be it too. Sometimes it’s better to paly these games in a group.
August 30, 2023 at 10:04 am #305661The sole purpose of a game is to elicit fun. If it does not do that for you, then it serves no purpose to play it.
I find that even for games that many others enjoy I don’t so finding one that I really get into is fairly rare. I assume that’s probably the case for most folks.
So when I find one I love I REALLY appreciate it.

There is a lot to do post end game, but the atmosphere of the game is not something they can patch. They would have to include it in their upcoming eventual expansion.
The Woke stuff is subtle, but it will likely get worse. Right now, I am flat broke & I can’t afford to waste money…I spent 150$ because the game WAS fun post patch 1.1.0
The game was fast, you had a sense of power & you could run through dungeons in like 10-15 minutes. Now you’ll spend 30 minutes in a dungeon with 3 minute long elite battles & their minions.
The enemies scale in level with you…but they lowered the scaling by 3-5 levels, which is still nothing. POE is perfectly balanced & a lot of fun plus it’s free & OLD AF lol.
Western studios SUCK!!!!!!!!!! The completely suck today because their main focus is a ESG or whatever it’s called that a few big names are now dropping since they saw the poison that it is.
Woke is bullshivism, because the world already did & does not discriminate. There is discrimination but nowhere near the depth these morons want the world to believe. If wokeness was universal, women would be watching all these garbage feminist movies. They aren’t. Look at Tank Girl, that movie was WOKE as hell by today’s standards but it was beloved because the movie was fun & did not insult the consumer. Today, it’s the reverse. Today the corporations Protest the Consumer.

August 30, 2023 at 11:36 am #305675Yeah Diablo general is a dreary game. Dreary games are common these days because a lot of these western games don’t prioritize FUN.
Naughty dog even admitted, they don’t use the word “fun” and instead replace it with “an experience” which sums up the problem with western games. Western games are out of touch with reality.
Blizzard is out of touch with reality, Microsoft is out of touch with reality, PlayStation is out of touch with reality. They aren’t making games for consumers, they’re making games for an imaginary audience.
At this point I’ve written western devs off and some eastern ones too. Nintendo is why Im still a happy gamer.
I rather play Mario than Diablo. One is fun and challenging. One is grinding in hell lol literally.
August 31, 2023 at 12:17 am #305725Tank Girl was an epically woke movie but not on the same level as it is today. It was a extremely OP girl boss Tank Girl. She was overly smart while acted very dumb. Hyper sexuality. Lots of Men Dumb, girl smart moments. The theme of the movie was about the environment. Man bad.
But it was like I said a very fun movie to watch that did not insult you.
I would recommend watching it. I might even do a movie review on it at some point.
About naughty dog, that dog needed to be put down after they killed the Uncharted series by firing that woman that ran the show. A woman ran the show & she made the game balanced. Then Neil Cuckman took over & effeminized the studio & let all the girls & whatevers peg him. he sucks. Completely. I don’t know where he went wrong in the head after the OG Last Of Us, but man, did you play the spin off with Ely & her girlfriend? They were teenagers if I am not mistaken. I quit the game very early when I found out it was about teenage girls discovering “Themselves”
Yes I know teenage girls, especially today “Discover themselves” in their teens, but I’m a grown ass man & I don’t want to play a coming of age game about teenage girls. It’s a little creepy, don’t you think Neil Cuckman?

September 2, 2023 at 7:24 am #305865Otakus and weebs will always be weird and be a thing, but I assure you the fandom is the least to worry about Japanese games. At least they give you the fan service and to beholden it against you.
That’s the one thing Anime/Manga does that the west isn’t trying to do: fan service. I rather play video games where the devs appreciate my purchase and doesnt shame me for it.
If anything, you should help us Gatekeep anime/manga because western weirdos are trying to destroy fan service for us and Capcom, Tecmo, and Square Enix are complying with this ideology with ESG BS.
Tifa’s FF7 legendary chest was flattened by woke ideology in Japan. I’m already up in arms at this point.
