Diablo 4 – What do you think

I got my physical copy today. It was my work week when it came out the other day, so I wasn’t able to get it until today. This is my first Diablo game.

Played for a few hours, my character is lvl 20 now. I have greatly enjoyed it so far.

My one disappointment, and frankly confusion, is that you can’t upgrade your game to Ultimate Edition if you got the physical copy. You can if you bought it digitally, but not physically. I find it perplexing in this day and age.

I played some more, and did crossplay with my brother who has it on PC. I am on PS5. It worked perfectly. My character is to lvl 32 now.

There is some annoyances, such as gear drops you have to pick up manually. But gold and some other items that drop you just walk over and auto-pick up. Very odd. Imo the game needs a global auto-pick up.

Dungeons sometimes split into many paths and I personally find that frustrating. I can understand two paths or something, but when it goes on and on and is a large Dungeon it can get nearly confusing imo.

But, I am still having fun and love the aesthetic of my Necromancer. All the voice acting is well done as well.
