Cowboy Bebop has some good ones. Maybe the most known are…

I’m not going there to die, I’m going to find out if I’m really alive.

    And…

    You’re gonna carry that weight.

Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy’s first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world’s one, and only, truth. But the world isn’t perfect, and the law is incomplete. Equivalent Exchange doesn’t encompass everything that goes on here, but I still choose to believe in its principle, that all things do come at a price, that there’s an ebb and a flow, a cycle, that the pain we went through did have a reward, and that anyone who’s determined and perseveres will get something of value in return, even if it’s not what they expected. I don’t think of Equivalent Exchange as a law of the world anymore. I think of it as a promise, between my brother and me. A promise that, someday, we’ll see each other again.

So are you saying that Haruhi remodeled the universe three years ago?
    – Kyon (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya TV) (I like also how he casually says it too xD)

I am the bone of my sword.
Steel is my body, and fire is my blood.
I have created over a thousand blades.
    Unknown to death.
    Nor known to life.
Have withstood pain to create many weapons.
Yet, those hands will never hold anything.
So as I pray, ‘Unlimited Blade Works’.

Son Gohan. It is no sin to fight for what is right. There are opponents with which you cannot talk things out. Set your spirit free to free to your anger. I know how it feels. You just can’t take it any longer. Gohan, nature and he things that I too liked… defend them for me.

My two favorite quotes from One Piece

      Nothing, nothing happened-Zoro

I want to live! Take me to the sea with you!-Robin

@DigiCat Gabi gets so much hate but I honestly love her. Fundamentally she’s a kind-hearted person who was indoctrinated to hate her own people and lacks the life experience to know better. She’s just like how Eren was, an ignorant child desperate to right wrongs on matters she knows so little about. But she grows so much once she arrives on Paradis.

      026

Fun fact: Apparently, she was based on one of Isayama’s early concepts of a female version of Eren, and it shows, given her appearance, willful personality and her character arc being a direct parallel to his.

“Lust… Greed… Sloth… Envy… Gluttony… Wrath… and Pride. These are the seven deadly sins of man. It’s true that any one of these in excess will lead to one’s own self-destruction… At the same time, these flaws are what makes us human. So why remove them from yourself?”
      ~ Von Hohenheim
“I do not wish to be human… I will become a perfect being.”
      ~ Father
“So you do not wish to be human? Answer me this, then: Why did you keep those homunculi around and have them call you “father”? When you were a dwarf in the flask, you used to mock the concept of “family”! But the truth is… You wanted to have a family of your own, am I right? You wanted what the humans had.”
      ~ Von Hohenheim

Jiraiya is a true man among men. I aim to be just like him when I reach his age.

      #233893

      Exactly like him.

Full metal alchemist brotherhood , “Who am I? One name you might have for me is The World, or you might call me The Universe, or perhaps God, or perhaps the Truth. I am all and I am one, so of course this also means that I am you.”

“Who was in the wrong…? Was it me? Or was it this world? It was probably both. I was young and foolish… and the world was unfair and insane.”
      ~ Grisha Yeager

The moment AoT truly a struck a chord with me:

For such a despicable villain with little screentime, this scene really humanized Sgt. Major Gross. It shows how legitimate fears can push human beings to commit atrocities, even if the perceived group hasn’t even done anything yet.

Sometimes the worst demons are the ones inside our head.
