Back when stories were character/plot driven, and family friendly viewing.

You don’t need the amount of sex, violent, cursing, explosions, CGI, woke/agenda, etc as in today’s movies.

A gem of a movie Forbidden Planet is.

Have you ever heard of a series called Three Body Problem?
There are 30 episodes on youtube from China’s Netflix. In January there will be the American version of the show. I would not recommend watching the American version in January.
The Chinese version has subtitles & is very faithful to the epic Hard Sci-Fi series written by Cixin Liu. Think Hp Lovecraft but tech Science Fiction.
