I have for the last few days, I tried to reply to a thread with a link to a ny post article in “Current Events” sub-forum.

Anytime I press”SUBMIT”, it would not accept my reply.

After a day of trying, tried a reply without the link, it worked.

I try as much as I can, when I am quoting/paraphrasing something, I like to add a link to where I got the information from when I have the link.

I might have found what the problem is.

It one tries to copy/paste a link that already has the hppt://www. in it, the forum rejects the whole reply/new thread outright.

Is this an issue/problem that needs to be looked at, or just something we have to remember when we want to add a link… do NOT include “http://www. ”

Is there any way that when a thread/reply is not accepted we get an error message stating why?

Then we can make the adjustment and more on.

The forum is extremely buggy. It doesn’t let me post on my mobile devices – android phone and a tablet because when I log in and go to a forum to post it immediately says that I’m logged out no matter how many times I keep logging in. Then the posts I make on the PC half of them disappear whether or not they have links in them and I’m given no explanation. I’m not attacking anyone or being a jerk on purpose and the worst I might have posted was an f word not directed toward anyone specifically, so there’s no way to know if a moderator is removing half of my posts or if it’s a glitch. I reported these issues numerous times for weeks but no one has gotten in touch with me so I’ve stopped reporting. I do see some others being able to post links. I don’t know what’s going on.

I think it is HOW the link is written that is at issue.

I have posted links in the past, and have done so here.

The fact it won’t accept one that has the http already in it is what I find strange.

It is a proper link after all.
