@DigiCat I’ve been meaning to watch that but still haven’t. Funny thing, if it had come out during the mid-late 2000s, at the height of the series popularity, I would’ve jumped at the chance to watch it (regardless of quality).
Really having some fond nostalgia of that time period; the characters were funny, the storylines were gripping and electrifying. The fan community was huge back then. It kinda sadly all fizzled out by the early 2010’s. After Gyakuten Saiban 4 a lot of people moved on, to the point its sequels only got a digital-only release on the 3DS outside of Japan (and I know of one-spin off game which didn’t even get an official English release, though this was more due to mismanagement on Capcom’s part). As for myself, after playing GS6, I was left pretty satisfied with where the main series ended, but I still have a cursory interest in the franchise.
Not to mention the courtroom proceedings are so ridiculous they would undoubtedly completely horrify anyone who actually works in the legal profession.
This is something that actually happens (except that very last part, of course).
