Have to log in all the time

I used the report issues button but figured I would see if anyone else was having the problem. I click the remember me button but I still have to log in. Cookies are allowed and I have cookies for both geeksandgamers.com and http://www.geeksandgamers.com. Not a huge deal just annoying to have to log in all the time.

The extra logins are bogus as well. You can enter a random username and password on them and reconnect to your original session.

Interesting.

Sounds like the session itself is actually fine, then, but something makes the backend (or the frontend, who knows…) think you are not logged in?

This weekend I have found this log-outs are getting NUTS.

If I spent more than ten minutes “inactive” aka writing a reply/looking up references, it kicks me out.

Something is still not right.

It can be discouraging for real – losing a lengthy post for a stupid reason like that. At least it should say “please log in again to post” instead of it just taking you to the log in screen and when you go back it’s all gone and you have to start over. That happened to me the other day as well.

If I go to the star wars subforum it logs me out automatically. If I log back in it redirects me to my profile page and if I go back to star wars it logs me out again.

It does that to me too but only on mobile devices (logging me out when I access a forum right after logging in).
