Show, movie or both?
I loved the show and the first movie… I actually saw the second movie first then didn’t understand why fans hated it. Now, for continuity purposes, I get it… though as a sci-fi movie NOT related to the Highlander universe, it’s not bad. The 3rd movie was OK, but went a bit into the sci-fi realm again instead of just delving into Highlander lore.
Highlander: The Source was just terrible. It made ZERO sense whatsoever.
The Raven should have been a great spin-off and had they done it like they did Highlander where they had current day Amanda doing whatever and then did the period flashbacks, or even just done all period flashbacks where once in a while she did the current day activities… maybe she wrote in her diary or something… that would have been a lot of fun because she had a very interesting character.
The cartoon was also fun to watch for a short while.
Not very excited about the reboot as I never understand reboots when sequels will work. In the case of The Highlander, it’s sort of a Dr. Who thing, where because you’re dealing with immortals, you could just pass the baton off to someone else.
However, I also don’t trust Bill Panzer to steer the story in the right direction, so I think he’d have to be out of it.
