I am Liberal but not a lunatic

I am liberal on many things. I believe in common since gun control as in only licensed people should be allowed to sell guns, mandatory criminal and mental background checks, and mandatory gun training, gun are not just a right there a responsibility you can not have the right trump the responsibility. My grandfather was in the Military and he owned a hunting and fishing store. He did not sell a gun until you passed a background check and you proved you knew how to handle one and that is not unreasonable. Criminals do not shoot up schools…mentally ill people do there is a difference, a criminal breaks the law to make money. I am against the death penalty. Not because I care about a serial killer…but because since the introduction of DNA evidence 100s of people who were serving life or were on death row have been exonerated. We put innocent people in prison we have no business giving the death penalty. And as for the hard left who I think is as crazy as the hard right, my favorite liberal Bill Maher
