If Gal Gadot wasn’t so smoking hot, would you care about WW 1984?

I have a theory that Wonder Woman was such a success because Gal Gadot was utterly beautiful and charming in that movie. She wasn’t a preachy feminist hag and she was pretty much what every guy looks to marry. Even my father, who is in his 70s, loved that movie and he hates comic book movies. I swear it was because of her charm. Even her cringy imagine video will be totally forgotten because she could charm the devil himself with that face of hers.

Your thoughts?

Wonder Woman film was marketed correctly.

They did not alienate fans with any woke crap.

They had a talented actress who liked the fandom.

Unlike that other female lead, with a person as unlikable as Gal Gadot was likable.

Who’s film was the SECOND female lead film to cross the $1 Billion mark.

That other actress who only had one expression – that of a wooden plank.

Wonder Woman had a great story, great actors, great music.

They showed emotions, and built up the characters where we felt for them.

Unlike that other film.

Yup, Gal Gadot is hot as hell, but i think that had the least to do with why Wonder Woman (and hopefully also WW84) was so successfull, and i don’t have that opinion just ’cause i’m a straight woman, i feel the same way when there’s a hot guy on screen, that’s a great bonus, but there’s lots of other important things that’ll make a movie successfull

Of course it’s important to look the part in a movie, and Gal does look like Wonder Woman, but i think what made the first movie so successfull wasn’t what we got on the outside, but it was 1) her brilliant acting, and 2) her personality off screen, she’s genuinely likeble and humble, it’s her inner beuty that won over so many fans

Well she has expressed that she supports feminism, she thinks there is sexism in Hollywood and that people who aren’t feminists are sexists basically. I’m genuinely wondering, shouldn’t you be raging about it? Or does people who aren’t ugly get a pass?

Good looking women in society always get a pass. Also, she isn’t a radical feminist at all and it isn’t like she is going to come out and start dissing women. Get real with yourself.

But what you are really getting at is that good looking women always get a pass… and that happens. Take Casey Anthony as a prime example. If she was an overweight girl, that woman would have been fried in the media and hung in the courtroom. Instead, she is free and some guy’s sugar baby.

I’m asking about your opinion because I’m trying to comprehend your way of thinking.

So is a movie woke if the actor/actress has woke opinions and is ugly? Does good looks nullify the wokeness? Or is it woke already if the actor/actress isn’t good looking, no matter what their political opinion is?

I meant what I said. There is no mystery to it.

Good looking women get a free pass for what they say. They will get several free passes. Scarlett Johannsen is a prime example. She was smoking hot and has a nice ass in her skin tight costume, so people gave her free pass after free pass. It only has been recently, since she started cutting her hair like a boy, that people have started to really bash her in the MSM.

Good looks go a long way in this world. It is just the way things are. No mystery to it. Frankly, some of those women are so good looking in real life, when you meet them, you couldn’t care less what they say. You just nod your head and listen. Nodding the head goes a long way for guys.
