is the Flash still good

NO SPOILERS!!!!!!

i loved the flash tv show it made the flash into my second favorite super hero. the flash was the only cw show i could bare to watch, but i stopped watching after season 5, it just got too shity, too much politics, lame villan, iris has been doing way to much, and nora was basically the main character. i hated season 4 too, so after 2 bad seasons filled with politics, and virtue signaling, and lame villans, im not very motivated to watch season 6, is season 6 any better than the last 2 seasons?is it worth a shot, how did you guys feel about it? and is it still filled with politics? and is iris less involved? NO SPOILERS!!!!! i just wanna know how you feel about it

Much like Idris Elba’s Luther, every new season of Flash has been worse than the previous, and I too bailed after season five. I stuck with Arrow until its end but had to drop all of the Berlanti shows. Not because of their politics and pandering, but the same tired structuring we’ve had since Smallville which he’s patterned most of his series after. There’s only so many pep talks a person can take. You would think with that much self doubt and moping they would’ve had a superhero psychiatrist show by now.

I did watch Flash this season, but each year I’m close to calling it quits. Being huge fan of the character it is disponting. What is worse then anything is the writing I cannot connect with any of the characters.

No it is not good. The Flash is a supporting character in his own show. I started calling it the Iris West Detective Hour. The cringe just got worse as it went. Then they cancel cultured one of the actors and I was done with it.

Then what did you think of the 1990-91 The Flash, with John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen/The Flash?

I like the Danny Elfman theme and the costume they used.

I think the last season I watched was season 4, and I enjoyed it. I loved season 1 and 2 but really enjoy season 3 and ditched it after the mid season finale. I didn’t bother with season 5 and watched the first 2 episodes of season 6 and ditched it. From what I’ve seen in clips Iris is still in it way too much.

yeah ive been hoping it would go back to the old days before iris became the so called “team leader” she was a decent supporting character in season 1 and 2 but then they started with the politics, i like the reverse flash i think he’s a good villan, and im interested in barrys story, thats the only reason i been holding on to this show, but they just keep destroying it for the sake of politics. its like theres nothing good left everything is going woke.

i agree with you 100% its sad to see something that was good, just fall and keep getting worse, i figured they would learn eventually because their ratings drop 25% each season since it started sucking but its like they want to run these shows into the ground.

CW showrunners never learn because no matter how bad their shows are, no matter how many fans are turned off, no matter how low the ratings get, The CW will keep renewing the shit regardless. There is no incentive to for them to listen to fans or improve their product because there are no consequences for doing a poor job. The CW doesn’t care because they make this shit cheap enough now, that they can make their money back on streaming deals.
