Why are people whom don’t live in Palestine or Israel or are even on that continent fighting each other over their opinion on this?

If I ask someone, what’s your opinion on the 2021 Iceland election that was such a big deal there.  I bet most folks have no answer.  That’s because it’s far away and it does not affect you.

So why are we willing to claw each others eyes out over an opinion that is functionally no different than the elections in Iceland?  We don’t live there.  We are not the ones whom suffer the consequences of conflict nor are we the ones fighting.  So we can have an opinion but it’s based on nothing because most of us have zero skin in that game and don’t know squat about what it’s like where the rubber meets the road there.

Our opinions on this are just as meaningful as if we weighed it on the Icelandic elections.

Now, if the US gets involved, surely we have weight there because it’s our country. But even then what we say about Israel of Palestine is of no consequence. It’s all very easy to think about it as moving chess pieces against people you hate while drinking coffee from StarBucks and being safe.

      Why?

It is the ONLY democratic nation in an area that is very much dictatorships/authoritarian.

It is a conflict that is over 2,000 years old.

It has locations that are holy to three of the world’s major religions.

      1. Jewish – 16 Million 0.2%
      2. Christian – 2.2 Billion 31.5%
      3. Islam – 1.88 Billion 24.0%

Over half the world’s population have ties to the region.

All their religious books (Torah, Bible, Quran) mentions and have stories that take place in that area.

They all have prophecies that deals with their religion taking place there.

And non-religious prophecies, like Nostradamus, made predictions about that area of the world.

Wars always affect the West because the refugees always end up in western countries over the objections of the people that live in these alleged democracies. Not sure if you saw that point Cernovich made about how Iceland wanted to ban circumcision and, of all people, it was Ben Shapiro that objected to that. What sense does it make for some dweeb talk show host to make such an issue out of the genital mutilation of Scandinavian infant boys?
Billons of Western dollars are looted under these wars and that affects us in numerous ways. We are only people talking on computer. That is not clawing at anyone. The people who do the clawing are those like Laura Loomer, Bill Ackman and rich donors that have got people fired and threatened the professional and academic careers of people who simply speak. That is real power. They have it and we do not. As for Starbucks, you should boycott that company after Howard Schultz used the company to push woke issues like PRIDE and #RaceTogether. Just another corporate privileged insider beneficiary of nepotism.
Also, again, Westerners never asked for this invasion and now, there are protests everywhere and claims of cells operating within the USA, and I’d be very skeptical about who those cells really work for. It has already affected us in that, when a western country does not want the Grooming Gangs or the Gang warfare, they are called “Islamophobic” by the very same media that threatens people’s livelihoods when Israel does the very same thing.

If we have nothing to do with it, why are there such absolute zombies like Mike Pompeo or Nikki Haley who talk about Israel more than the USA? They are never talking about Iceland, by the way.

Final point for now, but not sure how many are picking up on another thing that Israel and Ukraine share. Since religion was mentioned, the churches affected in these wars. It’s almost as if fog of war is used as cover to destroy churches, so who is the war REALLY against?

      Blinken is NOT Icelandic.

I did not say we should not care or not have an opinion.  My point is that for most of us whom do not have to be concerned with violence being committed on us or having to commit violence in defense, our opinions are meaningless and being willing fight over that is useless and of no value.

This thing is breeding resentment among the population.

There’s already been the murder of a 6 year old American-Palestinian boy in Illinois and a much less publicized one of a Female Detroit synagogue president.

The authorities need to cool things down, pronto.

“This thing is breeding resentment among the population.”

That’s my point really. That is entirely the point and it’s wholly useless and means nothing ultimately.

“There’s already been the murder of a 6 year old American-Palestinian boy in Illinois and a much less publicized one of a Female Detroit synagogue president.

There is a few more than that actually. These are crimes of sheer hatred.

“The authorities need to cool things down, pronto.”

Thom whom already sew division in the population intentionally love this.
