      @Mustangride1, there’s a difference between being difficult and outright treating your employees like shit

        @Digicat
        People have said I treated my employees like shit, funny they were all past employee’s and their friends and family or co-workers they brought with them in my early days.

        Early days taught me never to higher friends or family. Amazing how many problems stopped when i did that… Others that said that typically got fired for not showing up on time, not showing up at all, the list goes on. Now some said it because I was known for giving it loud and dirty. My favorite was being told I was a tyrant and Nazi because I had a rule of NO CELL PHONES ON A JOB SITE PERIOD with the only exclusion being the foreman and that was a work phone.  I fired the person who called me that and when he took me to court, I won as he was in multiple violations of his contract. Did not stop him and his friends and a few other employee’s I fired that day from spreading the word I was Hitler.

        So was I being difficult?
        or was I looking out for my company and clients best interest?

          @Mustangride1, of course just because someone claims they’re being treated like shit doesn’t mean they’re telling the truth

          Since we’re talking about movie directors, here’s a couple of examples i heard of directors being “difficult”:

          James Cameron had a no phones on set rule (a rule you can relate to), so if actors brought their phone on set, phone would be nailed to the wall, rip phone

          Quentin Tarantino had a no sleeping on set rule, if actors fell asleep on set, they’d get a photo of themselves sleeping… next to a giant dildo

          Are their reactions exaggerated? Maybe a little… but based on these stories alone i have no reason to belive they’d treat their actors like this had they followed the rules (which these rules alone aren’t unreasonable) or off set

          Whedon, on the other hand, has stories about him being a dick off set, even to his own wife, obvioussly, innocent untill proven guilty, but, all signs point to him being a dick

            @Digicat, It takes Dicks to make the world go round :)

            I never trust anything I hear about until proven in court, or witnessed by my own eyes. The truth is always less fun, entertaining or dramatic than the stories.  Unless you’re a Klingon

              I’m conflicted between agreeing and disagreeing with your statement…

              To put it in simple terms, there’s a time and place to be a dick 😈

              tbh im pretty good at reading people, and  to me whedon just looks like a giant douche,

              also i dont think ray fisher would just throw his career down a drain after his first blockbuster movie for no reason, because other ass hole directors probably wont wanna deal with someone they cant push around, so i dont think rays gonna get alot of work in the future, big respect to ray if he’s telling the truth

              Just like any other Hollyweird creep, nothing new that place really needs to drain it’s swamp.

              Wife-mistreating, women-objectifying, potentially racist hypocrite, is what he is.
