MLB Goes Full Commie With China-Style Ballpark Changes
(MLB) is accused of taking major steps toward using Chinese-style facial recognition technology to gain access to ballparks.
I am almost surprised it has taken this long.
Although the program is currently “voluntary” as it rolls out at the New York Mets and Cleveland Guardians games, experts say Americans should be aware of its implications and dangers.
Currently “voluntary”. Soon that will be manatory.
Was it not that long ago Madison Square Gardens used facial recognition technology to ban a lawyer those was chaperoning a bunch of teen girls from a concert?
Fans send a selfie photo of themselves through the MLB Ballpark app. As a result, ticket holders can walk into the game without a ticket or barcode. Their face is the ticket.
MLB senior vice president Karri Zaremba said, “Don’t have to get out a phone or even stop. It’s a free flow, full walking speed experience.”
So long as you are not on a “BANNED” list, or associated with a company or organization on a “BANNED” list.
“Picture a future when grocery stores, gas stations or other retailers that provide the essentials of life have a ‘go’ and ‘no go’ database for would-be customers trying to enter the store,”…
Or as some would say, “only those with the mark of the beast”.
“Communist China is at the forefront of all this use of artificial intelligence,”…
And now the US is playing catchup.
We had stories where malls were using such AI facial technology to see if a person is on their “BANNED/watch” list. And was ruled illegal and had to be removed.
But if people “voluntarily” join such a program/allowing such personal information to be used by third parties, then it is ok?

Just imagine, if criminals hack into the network and knows for a fact you are not home (and will be at a sporting event or concert) for x-hours, can you guess where they will be?
Or the opposite, everywhere has adopted this evasive technology (as in China) and being BANNED for shopping, buying, selling, traveling, etc. because your social credit score is not high enough.
The use of this technology brings us one step closer to this communist dream of controlling and monitoring everyone and their behaviour.
