Montana defies order on transgender birth certificates
Just hours after a Montana (activist) judge blocked health officials from enforcing a state rule that would prevent transgender people from changing the gender on their birth certificate, the Republican-run state on Thursday said it would defy the order.
What is the law?
The Montana law said people had to have a “surgical procedure” before they could change the sex listed on their birth certificate…
So you HAVE TO be transitioned to in order to have it changed, and not just “Oh, I think I want to be the other sex today, so change it” which is what the activist judge wants.
A Republican lawmaker who voted in favor of the 2021 law suggested Moses was biased in favor of the plaintiffs in the case. Moses was appointed to the court by former Gov. Steve Bullock, a Democrat.
“Like clockwork, Judge Moses issued yet another predetermined order in favor of liberal plaintiffs without thoroughly engaging with the legal issues at hand,” Sen. Greg Hertz of Polson said in a statement.
Instead of politicians creating laws, these activists judges take it upon themselves to FORCE laws onto the democratically elected officials. This is another reason who so many left-wing lunatics think the SCOTUS is losing its legitimacy when they make rulings BASED on the constitution and not as an activist court.
I have to side with the lawmakers, and that until you have physically finished transforming (mutilating) your body to being the opposite sex, you are NOT the opposite sex, and the legal paperwork (like altering your driver’s license) is not valid until them.
But to alter your birth certificate, which in 99% of the cases reflects the facts you were BORN that way, show still stand. If you were born MALE (had a penis), then the birth certificate listing you as BORN MALE is 100% correct! That you later want to transform (mutilate) your body to being the opposite sex still has nothing to do with your birth certificate.
Social constructed and mental illnesses/delusions (you want to alter your birth certificate to show you are a unicorn?) is making a mockery of science, facts, and the medical community.
We should be treating mental illnesses and not mutilating one’s body, nor allow MALES compete as “fe-MALES” in female sports, etc.
