My family wants to force me to use Zoom

Hopefully this topic doesn’t get labelled as spam again by the stupid glitch in the Geeks and Gamers website as it did everytime I go and try to edit something I post up that has either a spelling error or grammar error.

So Geeks and Gamers programmers seeing this post…..you better fix this cause I am as pissed as the Hulk right now and ready to smash something until you fix it.

So I will try to have as little spelling errors or grammar errors as I can and not edit this post of mine as it is urgent.

I don’t know what to do?

So my Grandma is starting to not remember things and my sister along with my cousins had a meeting without me about maybe the best way of helping grandma is to use Zoom a program I have expressed on this site before of not trusting because it has certain ties with a Yellow Bear that loves “inviting” people to his…..day camps. ****me saying Yellow Bear part in my sarcastic voice*****

My sister and I had gotten into an argument back summer last year about me using Zoom to talk to a Psychologist about my problems I refused and she gave me the stupid left behind world crap and in the end I didn’t use Zoom to talk to my psychologist but rather I talked to her over the phone every two weeks.

Now with how the Beerbug is fucking everything up for people in the world like for my grandma, my cousins talked to my sister about maybe using Zoom to face time with Grandma everyday, she told this my mom and my mom told me and I got angry over the idea instantly.

I want to see my grandma and be there for her to help her like a good grandson but I don’t want to use Zoom or even any video call service because it would require having me put my face being on camera.

And with how Winnie the Pooh is pushing to sell more technologies to other countries like mine that has mass surveillance and has facial recognition…….I am crapping my pants in fear at the prospect of it.

I feel like I am caught inbetween a rock and a hard place, I have a loved one that needs my help but I have to make a deal with true evil to use their device to help her but at the cost of my soul and identity.

I don’t know what do to? I am mad, scared and sad all at once.

    Update

As I wrote this, my sister told me we might not be using Zoom and isn’t gonna force me to use it but they maybe using Google Video instead which I don’t trust either as I heard Google loves spying on people also and they are possibly friends with Winnie the Pooh and would share stuff regardless.

I found out about another video service called Jitsi Meet from a Youtube privacy guy named Rob Braxxman who I hear Big Tech hates and so maybe I can trust him if they hate him so much.

Rob says Jitsi Meet is very secure and private but I still need a few more opinions on this if it is true or not along with more research on it before using it.

I heard Jitsi Meet is free and only needs an email and that is it.

Has anyone here ever used Jitsi Meet before and is it from your experience more safe than Google, or Zoom?

I heard Jitsi Meet doesn’t keep logs on their users unlike Google or Zoom.

    What do you guys think?

I need some feedback like now

@Megazord_Jeremy, no one can force you to use Zoom, or any other video call service, if you don’t want to, but, hear’s some advice to think about this logicly:

Do you have a: phone, tablet, computer/laptop with webcam, TV, passport, do you go out where there’s CCTV, travel by plane? If you own or do any of these things, you are or have been on camera, does any personal information get collected/used? Maybe, maybe not, point is, in this day and age we’re surrounded by technology, so, imo, rather than try run away from it, we should use it to our advantage, and if you don’t trust it? Just don’t show it what you don’t want it to see, it’s everywhere, but it still has blind spots 😉

Been using Foogle meet for video tabletop gaming for 8 months now.

It sucks ass but it allows my group to game nearly every week.

@DigiCat With how fast technology is growing these past few years, and censorship getting more and more nightmarish along with me being someone who has Aspergers Syndrome and not being able to watch what I say alot of times that pisses off alot of people most of the time unintentionally….today’s world doesn’t seem safe to me.

I am honest to a fault and I alot of times can’t stop myself from saying things I shouldn’t be like the many times I talked politics at my old work place and my coworker got angry at me because I stood up for Kayne West and I talked about what Freedom of Speech was.

The last thing I want is to be on Zoom or Google video and have these things I talk about that the Left hates so much get recorded as what I say goes very much against their insane narrative. I’m someone who by nature needs to speak his mind and I have a hard time lying even if it is to keep a secret.

I want to be able to speak what is on my mind and not get censored but that is getting harder everyday unless there is a push back that is so impactful it totally demolishes the far left for good and they can’t censor anyone…anymore.

I really don’t want to talk politics, I would rather talk Power Rangers but with what the far left and media is doing…..there is a part of me that won’t let me think anything else until this 1984 nightmare is gone for good.

@MrDragonbane I want to trust Google Video but they are just as bad as Zoom and I can’t afford using it either even if it is to talk to my grandmother, Google is taking Winnie the Pooh’s money also and they aren’t to be trusted either.

So I need to figure out a way to get a Jitsi Meet family wide server working to be able to talk to my family…uncensored.
