Another DA decides not to charge Cuomo in harassment probe
Oswego County District Attorney Gregory Oakes is the fourth county prosecutor to investigate, but decline to charge, Cuomo based on allegations outlined in a searing August 2021 report by investigators working for New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Another Dem DA refusing to charge a fellow dem of a crime.
Why do we keep hearing of such? It is like they created a two-tier legal system, where only prosecution of one site while the other is protected.
Oakes said in his statement that the decision should “in no way….be interpreted as casting doubt upon the character or credibility of Ms. Limmiatis, or how harmful the acts she experienced were.”
That is exactly what it is. By not criminally charging this perv, you are saying his actions were “legal”.
He called for legislators in the state to reform sexual harassment laws “to reflect the lived experiences of victims.”
As if inappropriate touching laws are not enough to charge this demented dem.
Believe all wah-men, unless they make accusations to a dem. Prosecute all, unless they are a high profile dem.
This is such a huge flaw in the US legal system. Where politics is more important than justice.
