I think if the NFLPA has any say in it, the season probably won’t happen. I don’t think the NFL can facilitate a safe enough alternative to justify the season to the players and fans. I’m not even someone that believes the hysteria around the virus. Regardless, the amount of revenue lost from not having fans or having a reduced number of fans is going to be HUGE. I think the limited preseason will be used to cut down rosters so that teams can ride out until next season without the income from the games. Once the preseason is over the season will be cancelled and all of us who purchased tickets to games this season will be refunded.
