It might be beneficial to tweak the notifications and message system for quality of life ease. All kinds of notifications are being lumped together, so it is easy to miss a friend request when you are ignoring everyone’s blog post notifications. Also, it would make it easier for messaging if we got an alert on the main site tab near our profile tab, otherwise unless we go to our profile section we may not know there are messages waiting.
