Out of all the exsisting disney princesses, they had to pick the one that is described in canon as having skin as white as snow to race swap…

      envy wtf

Initially i felt kinda bad for the actress who got cast, she’s introduced as having an amazing voice and loving the character, which are 2 great qualities to have, but what favors are you doing a young talented actress by casting her for the soul purpose of pissing off the fans that should be supporting her?? Then the twitter bird decided to take a nice big shit, and being summer, it hit the fan

      twit-twit (2)

      ……………………………………………………………….shit hit the fan

Hell-i-weird has been exterminating red-heads from their productions.

They have been gender swapping all the strong male characters.

And they have been race swapping as many “white” characters as they can.

So what if the original says the character has skin “AS WHITE AS SNOW… SNOW WHITE”, that to them is now a metaphor for how ‘pure’ their substitute is.

It is yet another product of bigotry, their woke agenda.  I will NOT be supporting this at all.

This and many reasons is why I WILL NOT PAY for anything Disney related….. And as I have said in the past, when it is woke from the start, I wont even bother watching. Hello, SNOW WHITE, is her name for a defined reason. FUCK OFF SHOW, and Disney.

Mad as hell doesn’t begin to describe my current reaction to this. Maleficent turning into a dragon…now that’s my current reaction!

I haven’t been crazy about Disney doing live-action remakes since I saw ‘101 Dalmatians’ back in 1996. Some of them haven’t been too bad (I confess to liking the ‘Jungle Book’ and ‘Cinderella’ remakes the most) but it depends on how they go about them. I hated the ‘Alice In Wonderland’ remakes even though I love ‘Alice In Wonderland’ and I’m a huge Tim Burton fan. I’m TERRIFIED of what they’re going to do the the ‘Hercules’ remake as that is my favourite Disney animated film OF ALL TIME! Part of me has some hope as it’s the Russo Brothers that are directing it but…I said similar things about the ‘Mulan’ remake having potential and look at what happened with that wreck!

Now that would be fitting for the DragonLady 😂🐲

I’ve never been that into disney, especially the princess stuff, i only like watching the live action remakes for the costumes and special effects, though Alice In Wonderland is actually my favorite of the remakes 😅 i liked the dark twist on it

          @DigiCat

I admit that I also liked the first ‘Maleficent’ remake but was hesitant on watching the second one. My only major complaint was that Angelina Jolie never turned into a dragon which I was really wanting to see. However, a friend of mine who is a ‘Sleeping Beauty’ fan boy hated the remake…and that was just the censored version of what he said lol!

I only watch the remakes out of curiosity to see how they turn out. That’s if they look good enough for me to watch in the first place.

Yes this is all due to wokeness to some large degree.

But this shenanigans is also because Hollywood is a small “elite” group and they are out of ideas. They have nothing.

            There are LOTS of ideas.

So many firms are buying up the TV/Movie rights for all those novels…

…and yet the people who are to produce, and the directors and those making them, are “creatively bankrupt”.

It is always easier to redo/remake something that has happen before (you already know the story, etc), than to make something new.

And boy are they big on doing trends.

If they see something work, then the rest quickly jump on the bandwagon.

Originality is not a quality they want anymore.  They want the quick and easy and proven.

            Who cares?

When the nut comes to the crunch none of this matters!
