possible new Firefly series?

A few thoughts…

The thing that bothers me most is that, assuming this will actually happen, it’s a Disney show, and Disney has shown a great talent to ruin stories people were fans of.

As such, it’s difficult to not expect “the agenda” to be shoehorned in.

Great: my dad’s favourite show and they’ll mess it up royally like they’ve done with everything else of late🙄.

Speaking of ‘Firefly’…you would’ve thought that what with that ending twenty years ago the ‘Cowboy Bebop’ live action remake would’ve been the perfect remedy for ‘Firefly’s’ absence. If it had been done properly that is!

There is zero sense in another FireFly show. That’s also my favorite SciFi series of all time. The magic is gone and you cannot recreate that. They had lighting in a bottle and they let it go. Not to mention it will be woke trash as long as it is Hollywood doing it.

I hope they leave it alone. Even with the best intentions, these revived shows almost always fall flat. Arrested Development, Gilmore Girls, X-Files… none of them captured the magic of the old seasons. I’m a firm believer that most things are best remembered as they once were.
