I think Star Wars should have ended with episode 6 because Episode 6 is the perfect ending for the entire Star Wars Franchise and you’ll get idiots like Ruin Wokesoy(Rian Johnson), KK, JJ Abrams, and Disney ruining Star Wars with fucking disservices.

George Lucas should have done himself and just end Star Wars with Episode 6 and put Star Wars in a vault instead of making a sequel trilogy and giving Star Wars to Disney and KK for them making the sequel Trilogy for him. Like seriously, having someone who isn’t George Lucas nor a Hardcore Star Wars Fan making the sequel Trilogy is like making Live Action Anime Adaptation.

The special edition ending of Return of the Jedi is my favorite SW movie ending.

Yes I have to agree Return of the jedi is the end of the Skywalker saga. The sequel trilogy damages everything that came before and it is null and void in my humble opinion.

The ending of Return of the jedi has everyone celebrating together, not some mary sue walking off with all prizes by herself.

In light of the disappointment of the sequel trilogy then Jedi is the perfect ending.  Such a shame Disney and Lucasfilm decided to tear apart the saga instead of build on it.

I agree with you 100% that ROTJ is perhaps the perfect ending to the Star Wars saga sure some fans might have some gripes with infiltrating Jabba’s palace and the Ewoks but if you ask me the Luke and Vader fight in the Emperors throne room, Vader’s redemption to save his son and the Battle of Endor more than made up for it ReturnOfTheJediPoster1983

While it was a great ending for the original trilogy, I was around when they ask George while his first movie was “Episode IV”.

He stated he plans on having NINE films, doing 4-6, 1-3, then 7-9.

I always wanted to see what George was GONNA do with his universe, from a galaxy far far away.

And while George did sell his outline for the sequels, Disney never said ever they were going to make films using “those” summaries.
