Scuttlebutt App, Any thoughts?

      I just found out about ‘ScuttleButt’ via this post [1] by Larry Sanger, co-founder of Wikipedia. I don’t know anything about it. Does anybody use it?

        I wouldnt be using apps, period, at this point. If it gains any traction, it will get nuked.  It’s not that much effort to type it on a search bar.
        Also, go read Wikipedia’s entry on Gab.com and you’ll see how much you should trust anyone from that company.

          According to Wikipedia “Since Sanger’s departure from Wikipedia, he has been critical of the project, describing it in 2007 as being “broken beyond repair”.” After doing some reading, it seems that my suspicions regarding Wikipedia are in line with studies. I noticed that the BigTech companies started supporting Wiki in an indirect way. Then I noticed some left-leaning ideals. No more donations to Wiki. It was a neat idea when it was around.

                Yeah, Wiki really went down the toilet. <snif>

                Apparently there are some other projects out there:

                Citizendium
                Everipedia
                Encyclosphere

                These are UNVERIFIED.
