Space Command (crowd funded sci-fi series)

Wasn’t sure whether to post this in “television” or “youtube”.

“Space Command” is a crowd funded sci-fi series. It has no network backing it, which also means no interference.

The 1st of 12 episodes (6 2-parters) is available here (with an introduction):

There is also a special that was produced while social distancing made normal production impossible (Note: it, as some of the available bonus material, contains spoilers for the larger story):

The style IMO is Star Trek-ish, but starting with a Expanse-sy feel to it. The story is big, going across generations. The term “Epic” may be justified here in its literal sense. For the larger overall story, especially the lineages and so on, the creatives seem not to be worried about spoiling it, focusing the suspense on the specific 2-part episodes. So be careful during your research if you want to avoid any and all spoilers.

I know there are good reasons to boycott Kickstarter. But this project IMHO deserves our support. It’s a chance to show all the defenders of Hollywood and the “shut up and do better”-crowd that there are people doing series without support of the system. I hope the Fandom Menace will donate generously and help make this an example of independent production we can point to for years to come.
