How about the fact that it was Lucas who sat down and planned out the story of the prequels, not a committee. I’m sure things changed from Lucas’ original drafts of the prequels as production progressed (which is a naturally occurring event in all movie making) but over all, it was his vision not that of a board of supervisors/trustees/etc.
Lucas at least took 3 years in between each movie to make them. He didn’t assembly line them out the door one behind the other like Iger and Kennedy did. Say what you want about Michael Eisner as a person, he at least put quality over quantity when he was running Disney. Iger is the opposite. If they both owned a restaurant, Eisner would be the type where you go in and order a signature dish. Iger would own an all you can eat buffet, with no specific menu and just let the cooks prepare the food however they want and then just stick it all out there for the customers and whatever doesn’t get eaten, they just put it in the fridge for the next day.
