Supergirl Is Ending After 6 Seasons

A spokesperson for The CW confirms to PEOPLE that the series will end afters its upcoming sixth season.

Following news of the series finale, the show’s protagonist Melissa Benoist paid tribute to her “iconic character” on Instagram.

“To say it has been an honor portraying this iconic character would be a massive understatement,” Benoist, 31, wrote Tuesday alongside a photo of herself as Kara Zor-El.

Should have been axed years ago. Season one on CBS was decent and fun enough, but when it went to the CW it went full woke. Fucking awful.

It was about time. I don’t mind “Supergirl”that much, for example “The Flash” is far more annoying sometimes then Supergirl is when it comes to overall wokeness and stuff like that. But none of those CWDC shows has enough quality to warrant even this much seasons.

Mr.H Reviews has stated how an average viewership of over 9.81 Million in season 1 went down to an average of 1.58 Million for season 5.

He also had a thought that the CW-arrow-verse is about to end so the DCEU can use those characters on the big screen.

Who knows.

The only CW Arrowverse show I enjoy is Legends Of Tomorrow. The rest are awful. I really do fear for the future of Stargirl now she’s moving to the CW channel.

As much as I am a fan of DC Comics (I did love Lois & Clark, Birds of Prey-2002, The Flash-1990, Wonder Woman-1975),

The CW-verse just never seems to make a connection with me.

So having them end, with the potential of an expanded DCEU has me more interested than whatever the CW has done.

Supergirl should have been cancelled after the first episode. I was done after that. They injected their SJW talking points into the show and ruined it from day one.
