This so hit’s the mark in a succent and poignant way I had to post this.

This is why the elites and the goverment push that agenda. When you participate in this or believe in it you are rendered completely powerless politically and socially in such a way that to make it through life you have to rely on the goverment and related power structure. And at the end of the day, that is what they want.

I am also starting to think that this nonsense which defies common sense, millions of years of evolution and current scientific knowledge is pushed upon the masses because this stuff cannot be enforced on the public without an authoritarian state forcing it. In other words the communists are using this ideology as a hammer by fluffing it up, encouraging it and when this small group of people who truly believe in it demand to be defended the state rushes in and says well since these are “human rights” we must defend them so we need new powers of control and censorship to enforce your beliefs. The leftists vote for this en masse so that their lifestyle and viewpoint are enforced by the state thinking they are accommodating themselves never understanding they are also removing their own rights as well.

The 1963 goals of communism also refer to this.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

“Communism’s 45 goals were read into the Congressional Record by Congressman Albert S. Herlong Jr., (D-Florida), in 1963. These goals were gleaned from the testimony given to Congress by scholars and from the writings of current or former Communists.”

In other words, they were not written by Communists themselves, but rather an interpretation of their work. Perhaps accurate, perhaps fearmongering. In any case, the whole idea with America being capitalist and Russia being Communist has been turned on its head now.

Fearmongering tends not to come true since this is pretty dead on I would have to classify it as something else.

America has not been capitalist for a long time this is true. I have no idea what Russia is at this point, socialist, communist whatever. It does not really matter though since at the end of the day whether in Russia or America, disagreeing with the state and or the mainstream gets you a boot on the neck.

Russia was a mix of economic liberalism (libertarianism) + nationalism + social conservatism up until the war. Now they have restricted some social liberties, such as being able to criticize the war effort. Up until last year, it was quite possible to criticize the government, so long as you remained civil and weren’t a foreign agent. No one in Russia lost their job, was fined or imprisoned for criticizing policy, unlike in the UK or Canada.
Russia still has an income tax flat rate of 13% (9% for self employed). A few years ago at a WEF meeting in Davos, Putin said during one of his speeches that “small business is the backbone of an economy”. The leaders of western nations snickered and sneered at that comment. Tells you all you need to know.
