I like to play around with Contrasts of Light & Dark & one of my favorite clashes is Sesame Street / Silent Hill. When I was a kid/teen I used to have nightmares of the Sesame Street Muppets. I had a dream where I was a detective on the trail of a murderer. I was chasing the killer down during a dark & stormy night. Thunder & lightning. I caught him. I placed my hand on his shoulder to arrest him, I turned him around & it was Ernie in a brown Trench coat & a Hitler mustache. He laughed & pulled out a gun “Hih hih hih! You got me Bert!” then he shot me 3 times. I fell to the ground. He stood over me, then I woke up.
Also did nobody ever question the fact that there were monsters all over the place & they had a Vampire with fangs. We never saw sundown either. Why? Well this short 3 minute video will show you what happens in Sesame Street when the sun goes down.
FYI, there is no real horror in the video, it’s mostly just unsettling imagery. Sure, I could have made it actually scary but this is a child’s program & I wouldn’t want to scar any kids for life.
I have another video that is going to be scary, based on SCP- 682 The Hard To Destroy Reptile. I’ve got plans for Final Fantasy, The Simpsons & some Warhammer 40k stuff as well.
