(Trying to post this for the 4th time. haha)
Way late on this but this Forum didn’t exist last year so fuck it.
The 20 games, released last year, I enjoyed the best.
I don’t care what is “technically” better.
Fun factor is the only thing considered because, to me, that’s the only thing that matters.

      20. Indivisible: Not as good as I had hoped it would be. The combat is a joke and most of the recruitable characters have no purpose but the character designs, platforming and metroidvania aspects of it are great.
      19. Hatsune Miku VR: Not a good game at all but it’s fun to wave your arms around like a jackass while listening to fun Japanese music
      18. Erica: Shows that good FMV games can exist. Not the best story ever but does stand out in a genre heavily populated by glorifed memes. haha
      17. Death End re;Quest: Fun JRPG with an interesting story line.
      16. Remnant: From the Ashes: Rougelite Dark Souls with guns. It’s a thing of beauty
      15. Metro Exodus: Extremely solid gameplay, character, story, graphics. Might be the best single player FPS since Wolfenstein: The New Order
      14. Devil May Cry 5: I actually liked DMC remake but the return of classic Devil May Cry was certainly welcome. Sexy, stylistic action at it’s finest
      13. Blood & Truth: A VR game that lets you feel like you are in an over the top action movie. A few to many cut scenes for my taste but the action set pieces are spectatcular.
      12. Control: Everything but the gameplay is trash but the gameplay is so goddamn good I don’t even care.
      11. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: It’s, basically, Castlevania. It’s good.
10.Everybody’s Golf VR: Would have been better with multiplayer and more course but stillm it’s VR golf done, near, perfectly.
      9. Dead or Alive 6: I love this series for the wrong reasons and the right reasons. The gameplay is solid as fuck and very enjoyable to engage in. It’s also very nice to see certain characters engaging in that gameplay. Would have been higher if they hadn’t released it like 1 month before the best fighting game ever made.
      8. Super Neptunia RPG: I love most entries in the Neptunia series and this might be my favorite
      7. Resident Evil 2: Very solid remake that kept to the spirit of the original. Sadly, the same cant be said for RE3 (or, as I like call it, RE Resistance’s single player)
      6. Trover Saves the Universe: I love Justin Roland’s humor. I love VR. I would have been surprised if I didn’t like this game.
      5. Code Vein: Anime Souls
      4. Kill La Kill -IF: The first Arena Figher I’ve ever enjoyed. And it’s based on my favorite Anime. Win-win.
      3. The Outer Worlds: Proves Bethesda is not needed anymore.
      2. Mortal Kombat 11: The story is woke, retconning trash (and I’m still annoyed Melina wasn’t included) but it’s the most fun fighting game I’ve ever played.
      1. Greedfall: Proves Bioware is no longer needed (unless you’re a AAA slave that thinks graphics are everything).
